I think so, thanks. But I think I'll send you a .JPG image file of me posing as if I'm giving you something (I'll try and find a gift-like box to hold in my hand), and get my Mom to take a photo of me. Then, please would you replace Jesus' image with my image? Maybe you could position this image of Jesus in the bottom right corner of the art? What do you think? I'll leave it up to you to decide. I do think it would be important to have a picture of Jesus and/or angels in the art.
Oh, that was just an example of what I meant, I will make a whole new one for you :D

Would you like an angel behind you? Actually, probably the closer to your face the image is of you is, the better...

I could put an angel in the other part, beside you :) With the text over it...

I had an idea. Take a look at some photos I took just a few minutes ago. Manipulate them any way you like.....

@Magenta what sort of programme do you use to create pictures and add things to a picture etc. I have been getting pictures, ideas etc of certain things that God gives me and I am wanting to create them so I am reminded. For example I have a coat rack that is on the left hand side when I walk into my flat. At the moment it is covered with a few different coats as it is winter here now so as soon as I walk into the house I hang them on my coat rack.

The other day I was worrying about something and the Lord reminded me about my coat rack. How the coat rack is like the cross and I am to take my worries (represented by each different coat) and hang it on the rack which is the cross and leave it there as the cross is where he took care of whatever is worrying me and defeated it. Then I got the cast your cares scripture. I don't know if that makes sense I am not the best at explaining things. Anyway I want to take a photo of my coat rack imposed on a picture of the cross with the coats hanging of them with cast your cares etc as this is what the Lord has said to me. Then I want to print it off and put it on the wall to remind myself to do that. I get alot of things latelybut do nothing with it. Dreams all sorts. Things that are different. Probably make sense to me but no one else lol. I love revelation and when God speaks. I always ask for more and more. It is like I can't get enough and it is always unusual.

Anyways I have just the usual Microsoft Publisher but is there another programme that is better?

Sorry for asking this question on the thread you created Commodoredude.

These are wonderful, Roy, I am sure I can do something with them, thanks!

@Ruby123 I will have to answer in the morning (your evening ;)) as right now I am exhausted and needing to catch up on sleep. I love what you have shared here and will respond further... the short answer as to the program I use, is Photoshop CC 2015 :)

See you later today (y)

Hi Ruby123,

I don't mind at all! In fact, I found your post quite interesting and I think both Magenta and I will be able to help you with your little "coat rack" project. Microsoft Publisher is mainly for publishing books, printing double-sided and that kind of thing. If you want to do actual graphical work, I would suggest installing software like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Browsing Internet for you, I found this free graphic design software that you can download for Windows: Gravit Designer. I'm not a graphic artist myself (I'm a piano-playing songwriter and therefore a musical artist), but I have very good general knowledge of all types of Windows 10 software that do a variety of things.

Hope I've helped you in some way! I'll pray for you that God speaks to you, me and others through the art that you'll create.

God Bless, Roy.

Good morning/evening, Ruby :) Wow, I slept over a period of eight hours LOL. Yes, that is unusual for me, and I normally wake up after each sleep cycle, too, so my sleep is almost always interrupted. The week of/following the full moon earlier this month, my sleeping times reduced more and more over a period of days to where one night I only got two hours of sleep before I was up again  So I am still catching up from and making up for that :D

I like the way your mind thinks, and you explain yourself just fine :) Your thoughts are turned always to Jesus and that is a wonderful thing, to have your sensibilities tuned in to, and revolving around Him :)

I am glad Roy explained the program you use, because I know nothing about it :giggle::geek: I went looking through some old posts of mine trying to find some where I explain my process a bit... I started out really simply, just adjusting the colors, hue, saturation, brightness, contrast etc of found pictures (that is much of what I have done for a living as a photo lab printer for the last forty plus years) and then also adding borders, canvas, and text... this is one of the images I found in my foray, and it seems so appropriate! :D

I used to use pixlr, which was a free online image editor, but I am not sure if it is available as it once was... a couple of years ago I took a few months hiatus from CC and when I came back, pixlr was down, and when they brought it back online, they had completely changed it to a dumbed-down version which was totally useless to me. That was when my daughter got photoshop for me, as I had begun making my own panels, using individual elements that are made available for free, like butterflies and flowers, backgrounds, border/frames, special effects etc. What I do with them is exactly like collaging, in a digital from :D

Haha! OK Ruby, let's define my real name here: Roy. I picked the user name "Commodoredude" because I'm a huge fan of the Commodore 64 computer (a retro computer dating back to the '80s but still very much alive today) because of its sound capabilities in the form of its sound synthesizer chip, the VERY FAMOUS MOS 6581 SID chip. Go take a look at The High Voltage SID Collection. There's music there that I listen to a lot.

Must go now, but have a great day!

God Bless, Roy. (aka Commodoredude).

Hi! Nice to meet you! Glad your on here!!
Hi, thanks for the welcome! But I think I should remove this post now - I'm not a newcomer anymore! ;) I'll start posting in a more appropriate forum on this website. It's great to be making new friends, and I haven't received a post from you before. Where are you from, Jody? I'm in the Palm Springs, CA area.

I got a question that I would like to put to Christian ladies, so I'll post it in the dating forum. Please would you check for my post sometime later today when you have a chance? It'll have a subject line that goes something like "Should I ask this lady out?"

Thanks for your input and have a great day!

God Bless, Roy.

Good morning, Roy. Just an fyi on a couple of things :) There is no dating forum, and this is not a dating site. Did you mean the singles forum? Also, a post/thread cannot be removed except by a mod, and only under certain circumstances such as breaking the rules, being terribly heretical, or extreme abuse. You can edit or delete a post up to five minutes after making it, though :) This thread will naturally fall off the front page as it because inactive, and more new ones take its place :D

Roy, unfortunately I’ve been on social security since some past car accidents and past life non Christian behaviors years ago.
Your prayers for well being are super appreciated and I’ll make sure to include you in mine too!
God Bless

Dear MendedSoul,

I'm praying that God would look after you, brother. I'm very happy you're my friend! How are things going with you?

You need to stay close to Jesus because He's the Only One Who will get you through these difficult COVID-19 lock-down times. I'm praying for you every day, so you must never feel alone. God also understands you very well and knows what you need.

Please stay in touch with me and keep me regularly updated. God loves you so much! I'll follow-up with you a week from now.

God Bless, Roy.
