Hi all, Jay here. I'm new to this and I can't figure out how to post a profile pic. It keeps telling me that it is too large. I don't know why, because I'm just using a basic selfie.

Glad to have you here Jay. I'm not sure how to post a profile pic either and I have been a member for a couple years. I'm sure that there are many that will be able to explain how to do this. Looking forward to your posts. Welcome to CC.

Yeah, it does that sometimes. But even basic selfies can be bigger. So it may still be too big or it may just be the site being obnoxious, as it sometimes does. If able try to shrink the pic down to a smaller size and see if that works. If you continue having problems try putting a post in our User2User Tech section as that's where the geeky tech types sometimes check and may have better ideas.

Mark the picture and the info box at the bottom of the folder will normally tell you it's size.
If you open the picture in paint you can change the size heightwise and lengthwise.

Welcome to Christian Chat, Lv2ski. It sounds like you need to shrink the picture. The computer should be able to do that for you. You just need to click the right things.
