Well, for one thing you've posted this in the new users section despite that A) you're not introducing yourself and B) you're not a new user.
Are you talking about chat or forums? Mostly a different group of people.
Pretty difficult to answer. Could be on your end. Or it could be the people you're interacting with. When I was often active I met people regularly. Dated a fee I met on here. Still good friends with some, years later.

As others said, I think the forums are better places to make friends. Chat is more fluid and you can't ever count on the same people being there and if they're not there you miss them. Go ahead and hop in on the discussions on the forums!

yep and of course if you get along with someone then you could send them a friend request instead of waiting on them,that's what I did to have ,magenta,on my profile as a friend just a thought because friendship is a two way street,you have to give and receive, not just wait around and mope about not having friends,because if you don't try for a friend then how will you have anyone as a friend?
