Pain Management Clinic
Appointments are not necessary. Walk-in patients are welcome.

Well, let’s go over our last visit. You say you are still suffering from the pangs of heartbreak? Did I not say that you must give the anger and hurt over to God? How did that work out?

I did not find that advice helpful and I thought it was rather naïve and shallow. I did give the anger to God and now he is angry at me and I am more alone than I was before. Do you have any other bright ideas? I really could use some practical advice. A lot of people say that they will pray but seem unwilling to do anything concrete on their own that may actually be helpful.

Did you give your hurt to God as well?

Yes, and I made sure that my words were hurtful. I projected all of the pain and anguish of my heart on God as I could not carry it by myself any longer. It was breaking my back.

I believe that we are making progress as you are no longer in denial. You gave the anger and hurt of your heart and thoughts over to God. However, God is not through with you yet. This will require a follow-up appointment. See the receptionist on your way out to schedule your next visit. And there is one more piece of advice that I will offer to you that is indeed, concrete.

And what exactly might that be?

Smile.

LOL.

This is an interesting perspective... I really liked the analogy; however, the real beautiful thing about God is that you don't have to schedule appointments... and sometimes doctors don't understand the pain or anguish you are going through, but God understands it all, and God went through it all before so that He could be close to you.

God is definitely not angry at you tourist. He loves you, with a deep, deep, indescribable kind of love. He can take all your anger as long as you do not turn away from him. And do not throw anger at him in seeking for the answers that you want... Instead, be honest with him in your anger, in your confusion, in your weariness... And seek him, not for answers, but for comfort and reassurance. And be comforted, knowing that He loves you and all His plans will work for good in the end.

I like M&M's too, as long as there aren't any peanuts in them. O__O *snatches bowl*

Thank You for your kind words. There are no peanuts in the bowl. Eat all of the red ones that you want.

Wow!

I also wish I could pass by this INTENSIVE CARE section... Ha! Ha!

P.S.

With the additional "reward" of getting all those M&Ms melt with peanuts (cause I like peanuts too).

Yum! Yum! :p

The doctor will see you now. Don't touch the medical stuff as it is delicate. You can lay down on the coach, the pillow is already fluffed. Tissues optional.
