Hello, everyone :)
Frist off, I have no idea where I should have posted this, but I hope its ok in this section.

These past few years have been so crazy for me, so much has happened, and getting kicked out of my former church was probably, the best yet worst thing that could have happened to me... like I'm glad I'm finally out of there yet sometimes when I speak to my Family, all I get from them is how I made the worst decision of my life by leaving Hebron Ministeries, I grew up in that church and not being allowed to talk to my friends or hang out with my cousins because I'm no longer a church member is really tough, plus hearing that I'm basically condemned for no longer being in Hebron is getting to me... for some reason they believe that only those church members will be saved and anyone else is wrong and condemned to hell at least that's how my former pastor made me think, which is crazy, to say the least.. but even when I was a member I never felt like I belonged there, I always questioned the pastor and church members yet was told that was a bad trait because I had too much doubt in my heart :\ and now that I'm free, they keep checking up on me basically stalking me tbh and no I'm not exaggerating I wish I was.. theirs just so much going on like I truly feel condemned by them they don't know the damage they're doing to me, it's hard for me to pray now, like I feel God doesn't hear me anymore or just doesn't care because well I failed Him by getting kicked out of Hebron, I just feel so spiritually drained like theirs no hope for me, and I'm so tired of hearing how much Hebron members are better than everyone else I just need prayers if they truly believe I'm doomed to hell then why don't they help me instead of making me feel this way, but I don't know I just wish I could disappear... I just feel so alone.

Sounds to me like you where in a cult steph89.. But i do not know enough about that church and why you left it and what kind of doctrines you where taught and what happened to you during your time in that church..

I hope you elaborate more of the particulars so we can get a better picture.. Oh and i doubt that you are eternally condemned.. I am sure you would not be being moved to come into a Christian forum and post your thoughts if you had no hope..

You can private message me if you find sharing particulars uncomfortable.. But which ever way you proceed i hope your time here is a blessing to you.. :)

Well, I say, good riddance. I have a few friends who go to a church like that (cult, tbh). I have this one friend who would die for her church because she and their congregation believe that they are THE church the NT talks about and that all who don't attend their services are not going to heaven. They even record their members' attendance every Sunday -_-

I think you just need to find the right church that will help you meet the real Jesus.

How are you dealing with the stalking?

I know He does, it's just I feel like it's hard to explain honestly.

It is very cult like. it doesn't really have one solid doctrine everything is taught by the main Pastor in Guatemala.
I would speak more about them but I know if I do they will somehow find out and begin to call my mother which is the last thing I need

Not so well.. I mean I cant do or say anything without them knowing, it's a bit creepy really, but
I have been attending a new church and I do love it there. you can really feel the love once you walk into the building,
nothing like my former church and my new pastor is helping me a lot with what I'm going thru. I just wish my former church would leave me alone..

Steph is there anyway to get a restraining order against these people? It's sad that these people are so misled. When I was finding my way and church I felt comfortable in, if any part of th or motto was, don't believe what we do? Then you're going to hell. You couldn't keep me in that building. That attitude is not only scary but totally wrong.

Hey Steph, there is no way for you to be eternally condemned at this current time, seeing that the judgment has not occurred. Even though there are some madmen and changers of the Word of God, there are still some Christians here in this world who love God truly. God loves you and you can still live a good life despite the past. Because in Christ, all who believe are made anew. Stay reading the Bible because it is fuel to keep the engine running. And reading the Bible helps to pray. Brush off the dust from your feet and move on. Don't let these people bother you. God has good plans for you and by completely trusting and loving God, you will overcome the devil. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Peace be with you. Remember that Jesus Christ is with us ALWAYS.
