No, not juiced up but prepared yes. Sensitive to the holy spirit's leading, of freaking course lol And there people who seriously don't know how to deal with spiritual warfare. If it were so, then we'd see more battles won.

dude!

your language is getting a tad rough for the forum

sensitive ears and all that...not to mention those who look for that sort of thing but I won't tattle :cautious:

yes...preparation but then some of us would have to actually study scripture. that's work man

There are seasons in a Christian's life when they will have to fight spiritually. Satan and his agents are cunning and will stop at nothing to see us fail. That's why its important for us to put on the armor of God through faith daily. And, I went through what seemed like the worst season of my life. I had to learn to fight spiritually (praying more, reading more, learning how to use the word of God, using my authority). It was difficult. Some days I felt like giving up but God would speak and encourage me. During that difficult time, I learned some of the tricks of the kingdom of darkness. One of the most profound things that I learned is that demons are legalist. They sit and wait for us to open a door. Any doors can be opened through what we say, our behavior, and most of the times its through ignorance. Then, I learned that the enemy has no power unless we give it to him. If no door is opened, then how can they rule? They simply cannot. Just like a virus they need a host to live and do their dirty work through.

And, the enemy doesn't just attack ministries, he attacks people health, their identity, finances, family etc. Anything to make them stumble and fall. And, the worse part of spiritual warfare is not knowing who you are Christ. If people knew who they were during the battle (victorious), then they would not be moved by everything that comes their way.

I agree and know what you are talking about

sadly, ignorance is no excuse and no matter how many times a person may not think something to be fair, we have the handbook but there are pages that are ignored until the need pops up

I would possibly have different things to say but I don't go into personal experience on this forum...very very seldom

but yeah

I recommend dealing with it before going to sleep

sounds like the op may be interested in this sort of stuff though which would make if difficult to kick it out the door

to each their own but no one should mess with this stuff...it will get worse as opportunity is given through participation

One solution is available but it is not the first many choose.

Ps 119:9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Fill the mind with scripture then dream about scripture.

absolutely

100% guarantee of success...if you really want to get rid of something that is not of God and you are a Christian

a verse of scripture the Holy Spirit once impressed upon me, was:

20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20

I'd go for the 'help me Jesus' first

all demons lie. all the time.

thankfully, I'm not having these kinds of dreams and I don't think you should 'play' with them
They're in my dreams whether I'm lucid or not.
I know what lucid dreaming is. I've experienced it before. Its scary.
It depends on what is happening. Obviously not in a nightmare but normally it's enjoyable to me. I like flying places and changing the weather a lot. You can walk through a wall or teleport to escape a nightmare character if needed. You can't die so the possibilities are actually endless. Just curious on who the characters are though. Good or bad or both. Who knows I guess.

we've all had dreams

I've had some very weird ones myself

well, I would submit to you an easy way to find out who the 'characters' are

engage in prayer against anything that is not of God

So this idea stems from God asking Adam and Eve, "Who told you you were naked?" God specifically said "who" not "Why do you say that?" or "Why would you think that?" etc.

I'm not talking about demon possession because I don't believe Christians can have that with the holy spirit dwelling inside. However, is it possible for demons to dwell there as well and influence our thought/actions?

Even so far as dreams...Who are the nightmare characters in our dreams? Are they really just creations we created? What if they want blood sacrifices and such?

I'm not looking for a "cure" because I don't believe there is one, other than just resisting them. Jesus himself resisted the devil and it's not a sin but temptation. Do you think God puts them there for a purpose?
There are no scriptures that tell us of a demon taking up inside a holy spirit filled believer. I.E Spatially,
spa·tial·lyˈspāSHəlē/
1.in a way that relates to space and the position, area, and size of things within it.) take up residence in a believer, a temple of the holy, in whom the holy spirit of God resides. It would mean that the antithesis of the sacred is stronger than the holy spirit. Because God delivered us from the realm of darkness, evil, and transferred us to the kingdom of Jesus. Colossians 1:13

Hey! OstrichSmiling... PTL!
Jesus gave the church authority over all the power of the enemy, when we were translated into the kingdom of light as you mentioned. Working with us is the Holy Spirit, who reproves the world: of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. The prince of this world is judged, and the Holy Spirit reproves the evil ones through us, his temples, according to our faith. Evil spirits work to kill, steal, and destroy through lies and deception. They hate us all, lost or saved and posses an overcoming jealousy of us. "But the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Oops, here we are talking about the cravings from sin or the evil ones' strongholds in our minds. For the mind set upon the flesh is death, but the mind set upon the Spirit is life and peace. Jesus said, "the words I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are life." So we war against the evil spirits on two fronts: in our minds over past sins where we should be working to control what we think about and the other front is the world of the lost around us, where the demons fight to keep what they've got. Pray for those in need and ask the Lord to send his angels to keep them safe from harm and any evil spirits that are working against them. They have a major weakness to the question, "has Jesus Christ come in the flesh?"

1 Jn 4:1,2 " Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that is should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world."

they may live and exist meaning demons and satan but to fear them is to not trust god.
John 10:28...
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. God will take care of them just as He promises.

I'll go with scripture.

2 Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

No demon can enter a believer because of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

For the cause of Christ
Roger
I suspect others have addressed this already, but you have drawn an unwarranted conclusion. Your assertion that "no demon can enter..." is not directly stated in Scripture. It is only an inference.

Given that, and the significant ability of of the enemy to deceive us, I would be more inclined to believe that your assertion is wrong.
