With huffel gone from "A conversation about nothing in particular" and the populous backing off there, I thought I would start a new home thread.

Anyone wanting to call this home so you can find someone to talk to, feel free to make it so.

I know I was one of the normal ones on that thread and that I haven't been able to post as much. Just a lot going on, but I am still here.

How was church for everyone. I spent around 4 hours at church today trying to help in the sound booth. I think the computer melted, with its weird mistakes, but it was exciting.

Church was great, good worship and a sermon about loving one another - one of my favorite topics.

I think that HUFL got burned out. That happens a lot on this site. A new member joins, writes a bunch of posts and one day just simply leave. The conversation about nothing in particular has ended. The place is a ghost town. I believe that slave and HUFL got a little anxious about the attention that they were receiving. I thought that we were family and that they enjoyed our company. I was wrong in that regard. Oh well, still many friends left to converse with, but perhaps this time with more particular conversations. That ketchup stuff was getting old anyway. Mayo a bit later.

Tourist, we do not know for sure what happened to them. I think it is best if we don't speculate. I know that when I stopped being on this site because life got too busy, some thought I was dead.

You know, Ive been blessed to see alot of this country, and meet some awesome friends. The sad part is, I miss them when I'm gone. That is why I am so grateful for FB and Skype, and yes these stupid smart phones :sneaky:. It let's me stay in contact with those I care about and want in my life!!

So what's everyone up to this evening?
I'm probably going to play some Legend of Dragoon the battle system is a little difficult to get used to but it's fun. Oh and despite my almost constant posts about games I rarely play anymore lol Thank God he broke me of that addiction lol

My eldest son was addicted to them games. me and his wife pointed out how he changed into a not so nice of a person on them, and he has backed way off. he was a big time gamer. spent alot of money on them systems. Glad he is backed off.

Yes the online gaming communities are almost all toxic it's got 13 year olds screaming obcinities at you and not so nice people. I've very rarely played online and when I do it's a game you don't talk in. I play mostly retro single player games the game I'm playing now is on the ps1
