There are two passages in the Bible which are the driving force of everything else in the Bible. There is Genesis 1:1 which says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth,” so everything emanates from God. Then there is John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” It is the quest of those who strive for righteousness to be saved and brought into God’s Heaven.

What is in Heaven, that is so appealing? The cynics would say that it is better to go to Heaven than to Hell, since Hell is the Lake of Fire referred to in Revelation and after all it’s no fun to be spending eternity in that lake, in agony from the flames, screaming out, not being able to think of anything except the agonizing fire you are in, how it is hot and it’s searing, and there is no end to it since your soul lasts forever, and so does the fire.

And we know from the Bible that our soul either goes to Heaven or it ends up in Hell, in the Lake of Fire. There is no middle ground. Purgatory? It is man’s invention for those who have no choice but to abandon all other hope. Purgatory in this regard is a fabricated hope that doesn’t exist. There is no settlement available as there is in courts of law. It’s Heaven or Hell, nothing more.

So what is in Heaven? It is described in Revelation as containing a new Jerusalem of walls and gates, and within the walls are flowing rivers with trees of fruit. If you are fortunate to be here, you are not alone because Revelation 7: 9 says that in Heaven is “…a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages…” Indeed, Galatians 3:28, which says There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” is manifested here.

But Heaven is more than a new Jerusalem, since it says in Revelation 21:10 that this city comes out of Heaven, so in Heaven there is more. But as Romans 8:28 says “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose,” and Galatians 3:29 says that if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise, then nothing but goodness awaits in Heaven.

Right now, to those of us who live on earth, Heaven is a far away place. We can only imagine what souls do there, day after day for eternity, but we can imagine the days are taken with still-flowing streams and fruited trees. And whatever souls in Heaven do, we can imagine that they are happy to be doing it, having achieved righteousness worthy of their being there.

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Heaven and the new earth are described in the book of Revelation. As good as you can imagine heaven will be it will be even greater by many magnitudes. Conversely hell will be many magnitudes worse than our imagines can consider.

It is partly the absence of pain, suffering, malice fear, hatred, and whatever other evil is in this age.

It is living in the Presence of our Father, Love........

is there 'stuff' in heaven -- physical material? 'things' in the sense we normally talk about 'things and stuff' ?
is it like this physical world? how much like it, how unlike?
when we say "
in heaven" does that mean the same thing as when we say "in" some place in this corporeal reality?
how much of our earthly language has the same meaning in both contexts? are they the same context?
what is a heavenly city? how much like an earthly city is that?
how much of the reality we know on earth is shadow of the heavenly things, how is it that way? how are the heavenly things different? does heaven have the same topology as this universe? do our notions of topology even make sense "
in" heaven?

So if God created the heavens and the earth, then if the heaven is the body of space that forms the physical world we know as the universe then what is the other heaven which was created in the beginning.

Then again, if God created the heavens then which heaven forms the world which God so loved that he gave his Word that whosoever believes in him should not perish be have eternal life? But seeing the Word tells us that anything which is created can not be eternal and whatever isn't eternal has an end of life then what Word did he give us that we might have hope in everlasting life?

Absolutely. Except that it is "heavenly" material. Heavenly gold, heavenly jewels, heavenly mansions etc. So we need not try to extrapolate earthly physical things (which are subject to destruction, death, and decay) to the imperishable heavenly things which resemble them but are far superior.

As to the occupants of Heaven, they are all presently in the New Jerusalem and will remain there for eternity. We have God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, the holy angels (including the cherubim and the seraphim), the OT and NT saints, and the blood of Christ which has eternal value. See Hebrews 12:22-14.

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

As part of the BRIDE of Christ (true believers as the church), we know there will be a feast which means there is food and we will eat in heaven. There will be drinks (Matthew 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.). Christ said He is going to prepare a place for us since there are many mansions...which means there will be homes.

It pretty much almost seems heaven has many things that earth has, just a better version of it.

But to answer specifically your question Op concerning : what is in heaven : as of this moment, not us!!
