Action songs

There are lots... i just felt like starting a thread on songs that prod us to action-- any, for the Lord.

Here's one.
A hymn for the working day. Features Johann Sebastian Bach's melody "Wachet Auf" played on folk instruments.

Action songs? There's a bunch!

(Side note: In Children's Church, "action songs" are songs where the kids get up and move, doing actions to the song lyrics. But I knew what you meant.)

Yes, i know. But we adults need actions songs as well, and many of our their songs can be ours too!

This song is very uplifting and should incite some kind of reaction.......I pray so ..

Whoops, the 4th line of the first stanza of “We Are” above should read, “But that’s .. NOT .. who we are”.

One of my favorite action songs: The wise man built...

In Summer Bible school my sister and I would sing a song about building yur house on the sand or on theRock. Of course the one on the sandwashed away in the storm……….

The children are beautiful and delightful…...God bless them all and the parents too. (Thelittle boy on the ffar right seems to need to go somewhere, you know, lol.) Thank you Mar.

Here's one on Looking up... the concert title alone reminds me what to do down here. It's a concert i could watch, and actually watched, again... and again.
