Why only a dollar? I'm sure you're burning through a pack a day and at $5 or more a pack split it up half for your favorite charity and half for something nice you and the wife have been wanting.
OK, $5 in the jar. Definitely go 50 - 50 too. We can take our share at the end of a year and go for a nice romantic weekend get-away. :)

"The sound of your footsteps, telling me that you're near. Your soft, gentle motion babe, brings out a need in me that no one can hear.."
From "Midnight Confessions" by Grass Roots

A forum for the one secret confession that you do not want revealed
but are brave enough to admit for all to see.

My name is tourist and I have a serious nicotine addiction. I once told God that I wanted quit smoking. He did not answer my prayer as He knew that I was lying to him. Perhaps when I am serious he will deliver me from this self-imposed affliction, and other things as well that do not belong in my life.
Hold on .. I gotta get my glasses to read this..Fonts...fonts...

Good point people are funny, innocent as
children.
Then get far too serious and miserable as adults.
Then rediscover fun again later in life.
Then of course some revert to a child like state.
I think Im going through the last one!
better at getting older...we are getting real good on that one. :D

My daughter said today she wanted a do over to go back to the 80's and start over. I said it's a trip you will have to make on your own cause I don't want to go back... She laughed... I said I like the here and now it is the most stress free time I have had in my life in quite some time and I wouldn't want to change it and go back.

Midnight confession...I have been going to sleep crying for about 2 weeks now. I feel so empty and alone. I feel like the anxiety is slowly creeping back and I don't know what to do about it.

So sorry that you are feeling alone and anxious. I got a call Monday night from my daughter who was crying and feeling anxious and we talked for a while. She was feeling overwhelmed in her job and having issues with her boss. She is 38 and in the prime time of life's responsibilities where rent is due, car payments and just living expenses.

I'm not sure of your age but you might be going through the same things and it can just feel like you are all alone trying to face the world and it's hard. At times very hard.

Please reach out to someone, a parent like my daughter did, or a trusted friend, you can always talk to God about it, your pastor.

I can remember back in my single Mom days and the weight of responsibilities that I faced and feeling alone with the added joy of the occasional panic attack....

I talked to my daughter the next day and after a good nights sleep she said she felt better and was ready to face the day that she would have to just deal with the cards she was dealt, but she did sound better than the day before. So please find someone to talk to.

Dear Father In Heaven please help our LittleMermaid to feel better, to get good rest and be able to work through this situation she is going through, please help her to realize that you love her and are by her side as she goes through these times of loneliness and when she is feeling anxious. Bring her peace and wrap your arms of love around her in Jesus Name Amen.

I'm sending you a virtual hug for the day...

I feel anxious most mornings before I head off to work. I talk to God all day long and my fears and anxiety usually leaves. I felt empty and alone most of the 8 years I spent in Maine as I was in a lonely and isolated place. I have said a prayer for you and my wife has as well.
