don't misrepresent.

i do not believe "He came in the flesh" means "He ceased to be God"

It is a great mystery.

The issue is, did He use powers no other human has access to in His victory over satan? Did He kick in the supernatural to resist against sin when the going got tough?

Or do we believe the Scriptures when it says He didn't come as a God, but humbled himself in the form of a human. Did He cheat in His victory over sin, that the entire Bible tells us to overcome? Or do we believe in the Scriptures that preach He was the firstfruit of many who chose the will of God over the will of man.

For me, I believe Jesus didn't cheat, or fake His death. I believe the Word which teaches He came in the Flesh, as a man, not in the Spirit, as a God. This is what the scriptures say. I believe He Loved me enough to risk His life, which means, had He sinned, the whole world, including Himself, would have perished. (Wages of sin is death) like it did with Adam. In overcoming sin as a human, He "made a show openly" of all those who would preach that God's Laws are against us. And we need to "omit" many of them, and change the ones that interfere with our golfing and other desires of the Flesh, if we want "freedom".

Many do not really believe Jesus was a man, they don't really believe He came in the Flesh. They believe the only way He overcome sin is because He was a God.

I believe the Word of God which says He was a "MAN" despised.

it does not matter what you believe, it matters what Jesus Himself said- that He would down His life and He would take it up again. that no one could take it from Him.

so, you say that Jesus risked His life. Jesus said that no one could take His life .

I will believe Him, not you.

Difference between sinless and blameless. Only one man can claim to be sinless: Jesus Christ

Jesus was 100 percent man and 100 percent God.

How is this possible?

Can you be 100 percent a Son and 100 percent a Father at the same time?

Christianity is built upon the concept that God the Son , the Word came down from Heaven and became a man and died for us.

He could have called all the armies of angels to save him from the Cross but choose instead to save us through the Cross.

Can you an ordinary man command the army of angels in Heaven?

What is the difference between a drug dealer on the street and the president of the United States?

it's very simple. you either believe Jesus, everything He said about Himself, or you do not.

Jesus said that He had the authority to forgive sins. He said no one could take His life from Him. He said no one comes to the Father except through Him.

now, we all know that a mere human could do such things, if a mere human said these things , they would be untrue.

think about it like this- Jesus the man ( in the flesh ) was sleeping in the boat when a storm came. the man was tired. so tired a strong storm in the middle of a lake did not wake Him, the disciples woke Him

then, the Lord Jesus, the Deity , spoke to the storm and it ceased.

very simple if you take off your religious glasses and look.

Jesus was more than just a man.

Just as if you are a born again child of God lead by the Holy Spirit, you are more than just a human.

You are an ambassador for your Heavenly Father. You have powers to command demons to leave your presence because the Holy Spirit within you will enforce your right for protection and peace. God loves you enough to send His angelic police force to intervene if spiritual forces of darkness try and overwhelm you.

You have been given spiritual armor and spiritual gifts and a task to accomplish in this life before God calls you back home to Him.

You have the power of prayer.

You have the sword of Truth, the Word and the Bible to use in battle against the enemy and this fallen world.

If you are truly a born again child of God, then you are more than human and have access to supernatural powers many so called Christians ignore and dismiss. Prayer being the primary one.

The ability to go into the presence of the King of Kings and be heard as a beloved child.

Prayer, why do people not take the time to do it more often?

Why do people talk but don't listen to God?

Why do people claim God is silent when He has given us a whole book with His words most people haven't even bothered to read once?

Two things that really stand out to me in the N.T., are two statements applied unto Jesus....amongst many that is....

a. He was dealt the SPIRIT WITHOUT MEASURE
b. I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God

Yep even demons know and fear God, yet many so called Christians have only the faith of demons and bit the saving faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

All some people have is a fear of God without understanding or feeling His agape love for us. Some would rather listen to demons than come into His Light and be washed clean by His Blood.

We may not see the whole picture. We may only be a small part of the Body. However the weakest in the Kingdom is stronger and wiser than the wisest man or most powerful dictator of this world.

We have enough light to accomplish the task God sets before us to do.

You are full of baloney.

I highlighted it not to justify sin but to show that grace was needed.

To show the difference between Islam and true Gospel message.

I am not surprised that you missed the point.

Yes David was a sinner, a murderer and an adulterer yet He is called a man after God's own heart.

I believe this wholeheartedly and it's an example of God's grace.

However Muslims and fake Christian Demand perfect obedience to the Law, ignoring God's grace and love even for sinners

FYI the story about Abraham is about God's grace and Abraham's faith in the loving and forgiving and faithfulness of God and His promises....not Abraham's obedience or self righteousness.
Fascinating how Mainstream Christian Religions, as does Islam, twist God's Word to create their own religion. Not that we were not warned of this over and over.

I found your judgment of Abraham's obedience fascinating. By your logic, Abraham was a self righteous legalist, "Earning" His friendship with God by self righteous obedience to Him and His Laws, While Eve, listening to the Serpent, Became the perfect Christian where "grace" could abound. Certainly Eve's path is the Broader path, and easier than Abrahams to follow, yet the Word of God in which you claim Faith, said Abraham was blessed "BECAUSE" of His Self Righteous obedience to God.

I find your religion fascinating. When Abraham denies himself, Leaves his Family, his religion, his lifestyle, and does as the Word of God which became Flesh tells him, even to sacrificing his own son, that is called "self righteousness" in your religion.

But according to the Word of God, When Abraham denies himself, Leaves his Family, his religion, his lifestyle, and does as the Word of God which became Flesh tells him, even to sacrificing his own son, that is called "Faith".

Between Eve and Abraham, which of these two recieved "Grace" and Glory from Almighty God?

"ignoring God's grace and love even for sinners".

I think you are the one full of baloney. What was the Message the Christ gave to "Sinners He loved" in your religion?

The Christ of the Bible told them to "CHANGE" (Repent)? And what about those religious men who called the God of Abraham their Father yet refused to be, as your religion calls it, "Self Righteous"?

Matt: 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Matt. 3:
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Matt. 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

And what would those "works" worthy of repentance be in your religion? Obedience to God? No, That would be "self Righteous", can't have that.

This is in part why I don't attend an Islam Church, or a organized mainstream Christian franchise. Because what they teach, and what the Christ teaches, are two completely different things.

As the Christ said to the sinners He loved.

Luke 13:
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Amen! Many "nominal" Christians believe "mental assent" that "there is one God" just like the demons (James 2:19) yet they do not believe/entrust their spiritual well being to Christ; have faith/reliance upon Christ for salvation. Sadly, their "trust and reliance" is in "their works" for salvation (Matthew 7:22-23) and is not in CHRIST ALONE for salvation (Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8,9).

This one verse and your understanding of it doesn't erase all the Bible. He said He offered His life, no one can make Him lay it down. That is the whole point. It is a "Free Will Offering". The Word of God "offered" His Life for ours. Offered to humble Himself in the rorm of man, not God.

But you don't believe this. You believe He really offered nothing, because He couldn't die in the first place. He wasn't a Man, but a God.

I will believe Him, not you.

does the " Lamb of God, slain before the foundation of the world " sound like Jesus was just walking around , hoping He made to the Cross??

well, anyway, you blaspheme Jesus because you do not believe His Words about His authority , what He said about Himself.

calling Jesus a lair is very, very dangerous ground. so much so, I am out of this.
