Luke 17:33-35 (NIV)
33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it,
i do meditate

sooner or later,
I think I was so tired, it feels like dying and I muttered "let me die, let me die peacefully" as if praying to God

...

for some reason, I got the insight from sleep

in hell, fear of heights exist
not able to tell whether floating or falling

and I also got the insight how people always have instincts on trying to "save themselves", and I think it was sleep paralysis

insight from sleep = nightmare
I have nightmares, where in that nightmare I went to hell, is that an indication of anything? or is it nothing?

what does dreams mean?

@VCO you are seasoned and I trust your experience on bad dreams, especially about hell-dreams or visions

All the drivel you post means nothing and I find it hilarious that the last book you quote to PROVE your working for, I keep myself saved blather is the book of JUDE which lists 3 false teachers that ALL false teachers are compared to.....

CAIN being first on the list....and he peddled works

Man you have a lot to UNLEARN and then a LOT to learn before you get anywhere near correct in your theology...
Take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does. If anyone considers himself religious and yet DOES NOT KEEP A TIGHT REIN ON HIS TONGUE, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Evolution is fine the problem is aethist scientist ignorantly trying to use bad science to refute the Bible and ignorant Christians (some who still think the earth is the center of the universe and the sun goes around it and the earth is flat) claiming that the Bible says things it doesn't.
often a problem i see is conflating evolution with abiogenesis/spontaneous generation/life-randomly-arising-from-muck.
evolution isn't an origin theory. abiogenesis is. evolution only concerns biological life that already exists.
both sides of the aisle mix these two ideas up and assume one by necessity implies the other, but they are wholly different theories about wholly different subjects; they neither prove nor contradict each other.

it's interesting tho that purely secular theoretical & observational science arrives at the conclusion that the phenomenon of biological life in the universe has to have a beginning, and a cause that transcends biological life. this is what we know from God's revelation to us in scripture, too!
the atheist looks at this problem and assumes a natural cause. observational science and mathematics provide evidence that there is no such natural solution, but carnal man keeps looking for a carnal '
first cause' - exchanging the truth for a lie. but we know, the truth is that the 'First Cause' is supernatural, that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth - and the evidence of His handiwork declares Him!

vis-a-vis, the evidence of the of salvation declares that it also is His handiwork; He is the Author and Finisher of our faith :)

Cain offered works
Balaam offered compromise
Korah rebelled against the one who actually had the truth

ALL false teachers are compared to the above.....now think about what you peddle.........

why oh why do people not " rightly divide the word of truth " to understand the difference between the covenants , its so sad , and causes so much confusion !!

Let's see if you understand the Difference, pertaining to SALVATION?

Malachi 3:6 (NASB)
6 "For I, the LORD, do not change;
therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

So if I can find ONE example of How GOD saved ONE man, then we will know How GOD SAVES all men and women both in the OLD TESTAMENT and in the NEW TESTAMENT. Keep in mind that the WORD BELIEVE carries a much deeper meaning than the English Word BELIEVE. It means much more than Intellectual Acknowledgement that something is TRUE, IT MEANS YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO PUT YOUR WHOLE TRUST IN WHAT YOU CLAIM TO BELIEVE, or it does not count as genuine Belief.

Romans 4:3 (HCSB)
3 For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness.

That then is HOW the GOD of this Universe SAVES all men and women. In particular:

ABRAHAM Believed GOD that HE would send a MESSIAH.

We Believe GOD did send the MESSIAH, JESUS CHRIST.

THAT IS THE SAME FAITH, the Faith of ABRAHAM.

What about the LAW? The LAW was NEVER Designed to Be a system of Does and Don't to make men Righteous before GOD.

It was designed to PROVE to men that THEY COULD NEVER MEASURE UP TO GOD'S STANDARDS.

James 2:10 (CSBBible)
10 For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all.

Romans 3:20 (HCSB)
20 For no one will be justified in His sight by the works of the law, because
the knowledge of sin ⌊comes⌋ through the law.

So what is the Difference between the Old Covenant, and the New Covenant.

ONE THING, and that is PRESCRIBED WHEN JESUS became OUR HIGH PRIEST.

Hebrews 7:12-15 (ESV)
12 For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well.
13 For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.
15 This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek,
[.That refers to being both High Priest and KING.]

SO WHAT DID CHANGE:

Exodus 31:12-18 (ESV)
12 And the LORD said to Moses,
13 “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the LORD, sanctify you.
14 You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy for you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. Whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.
16 Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.
17 It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”
18 And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

THE NEW WORSHIP COMMAND:

Hebrews 10:23-25 (ESV)
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

The ONLY DAY Mentioned it the Day of the Rapture. NO! The SABBATH WAS NOT CHANGED TO SUNDAY! It always has been SATURDAY, and Always will be. The SABBATH has always be a sign of the Covenant between GOD and Israel, it was NOT intended to be a sign of the Covenant between GOD and New Testament Church.

Romans 14:5 (HCSB)
5 One person considers one day to be above another day.
Someone else considers every day to be the same.
Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind.

I am one that believes I can worship any and all days of the WEEK. There is not a day, that I do not think about, and I am in awe of all the LORD has done with my life. Which is also Worship, as WELL As my weekly Worship Service, which is on a Sunday.

Very interesting to see how different translations of the bible can push you down a different path of believing.

Philippians 2:5-7 American Standard Version (ASV)
5 Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a [a]servant, being made in the likeness of men;

Philippians 2:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Notice in ASV it says, Jesus, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped. (IOW, this translation makes it sound like Jesus did not think it was possible to be equal to God, a thing that could not be grasped)

But in the KJV it says, Jesus, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. (IOW, this translation makes it sound like Jesus did think it was possible to be equal with God. He thought it not robbery to be equal with God.)

So what do you think, can Jesus be equal to God or not? At least this scripture and the different translations make it difficult to know.
yes it really is. and it's interesting that this passage in particular has apparent difficulty and difference in translating.

imo in the kjv, i disagree with what you said - i think it may make it sound like to be equal with God is something Jesus took, that He didn't naturally have. partly because of how language has changed tho - the phrasing has the archaic connotation that one wouldn't consider it robbery to make use of a thing because in truth it belongs to them. keeping in mind, it's also written immediately prior to this, He was being in the form of God. What i believe He humbled Himself to do was stoop down and add humanity to Himself - to consider us tenderly, taking the form of flesh in the perfect way that only God can. the Son didn't 'put on a human costume' ((like halloween eh)) He became a human, perfectly, 100%, while perfectly remaining 100% God, in perfect meekness. meekness is forbearance to exercise power and authority - that isn't meekness anymore if you don't have such power or authority. i believe Christ is omnipotent, omniscient God, always has been and always will be. and that like a lamb led to the slaughter, He demonstrated His love for us, oppressed and afflicted, yet not opening His mouth, even laying down His life - to take it up again :)

And this point is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, one who has become a priest not by a law of succession, but by the power of an indestructible life.
(Hebrews 7:15-16)

when did Christ become priest? when His indestructible life began. how old is God? ;)
from everlasting to everlasting

Take note of this:
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Take note of this:
Ephesians2:8-10
8)
For it is 'by grace' you have been saved, 'through faith'—and this is 'not from yourselves' it is the gift of God
9) not by works, so that no one can boast. 10) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

You cannot mock God.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:7-10

If you do not SOW to please the Spirit to reap eternal life, what do you SOW? Or do you even SOW?

You would agree that when you SOW something, you are doing a work. If you don't, then maybe you have been DECEIVED by the seed of deception sown by the enemies of God. I'll pray to God that you humble yourself to Him that you may be able to SOW to please the Spirit through your FAITH in God and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our LORD.

God bless.

Wrong again...works of any flavor do not save, keep saved, top off salvation or finish salvation which is a one off eternal experience based entirely upon grace and faith. It has a present continuing result from a past completed action......and no offence, but pray for yourself that God opens your eyes to biblical salvation before you find yourself in the plenteous in number grouping...YOU, like ALL workers for, are conflating justification with ongoing sanctification......a very deadly mistake with eternal consequence........

Just came upon this.

If evolution is correct, then how do you get God creating man into that idea?

If you are truly interested, you can read this article, reread the Bible, pray and ask God how He does it.

https://www.iep.utm.edu/design/

I don't have the time or the ability to post a comprehensive explanation that you would accept on an internet forum.

Sides it will mean more if you do your own research and ask God yourself.

Thank you brother , I certainly do !!!!

Anyway. If you believe that God created each "kind" of animals, then evolution happens after God created them to show the diversity of animals we have today. Also evolution is the tool God uses to help human and animals adapt to the worstening conditions caused by sin and mankinds continued rebellion against God (example: pollution and it's link to cancer).

In Genesis it says God gives Adam and all the animals plants as food. After Noah God gives them animals. However before the flood there was violence and blood shed by all of creation not just humans. The Bible makes laws about not eating meat with the blood still in the animal, which means people might have ate animals while they were still alive.

All this to say that science or evolutionary theory agrees that most likely animals and humans ate plants before evolving to eat meat

Jesus tells us these bodies are temporary tents made to die. Our resurrection Bodie will be very different from our current ones.
