There are many heretical concepts floating around. Universalism is just one. The creeds were created from 212 to 500 and define the beliefs a Christian must have. The elders creating them stated 3 things.
1. They define what a Christian must believe.
2. Anything contrary is heretical.
3. Any Biblical issue outside the creeds is agree to disagree.

Thus we have many gospel preaching denominations. They have distinctives about which they disagree.
Hello brother. I have a couple of questions, if you dont mind:
1. Which creeds do you mean from 212 to 500? Could you list them for me? I know the apostles creed and nicene creed, dont really know the others?

2. I agree many things we can agree to disagree on, fundamentals are required.

3. Why did the creeds stop being authoritative after 500? What happened then? The catholics came into power? Or what?

Dont fall for this guys. All the non-registered people reading this DONT FALL FOR IT.

If what he is saying is true (WHICH ITS NOT) then our ETERNAL LIFE, would come to an end.
Matthew 25:46 has the same word aionios for ETERNAL LIFE and ETERNAL judgment. Therefore both are of the SAME DURATION.
The word Aionos can mean eternal or age-long

However, the Bible promises that eternal life shall last forever in other sections (Isaiah 51:6).

However, the bible promises that death (seperation from God) will be destroyed (1 Corinthians 15:26). That's not my opinion, its the Bible.

This means life = eternal but punishment will not last forever.

How dare you be so brash, so bold, standing on truth! Let's have "unity" and "positivity" instead!
If you want the truth, I recommend the Word of God: 1 Corinthians 15:26, Romans 11:31, 1 Corinthians 15:28

And if you are wondering why the bible describes hell as eternal all the time, I have some truth for that too. Yes, the word translated eternal can mean age-long too.

Strong's Concordance
aiónios: age-long, eternal
Original Word: αἰώνιος, ία, ιον
Part of Speech: Adjective
Transliteration: aiónios
Phonetic Spelling: (ahee-o'-nee-os)
Definition: agelong, eternal
Usage: age-long, and therefore: practically eternal, unending; partaking of the character of that which lasts for an age, as contrasted with that which is brief and fleeting.

Did you bother to read the creeds? Did you bother to look up the history of their creation? Did you bother to look up what the elders creating them said about them? You along with others ignore the history and reasons for their creation. You have the 21 century concept. Back then Bibles were very expensive and rare. A scribe would work months to create a copy of the Bible. Due to the rarity of books people back then committed a lot of information to memory. Creeds and selected verses of the Bible was how the gospel message was passed to others. This was the method of evangelism. You need to understand how it was back then as opposed to today the plentiful books because of the printing press!!
I have read the creeds and I am convinced that the main author was antichrist. When the Protestants broke off the Catholic Church, they should have just started over. The way they did it just make them offshoots of the RCC. As it is they are daughters of the Great Whore and are harlots themselves (Rev. 17:5).

Demonstrate that to me using the Apostles Creed. Especially since many churches in different gospel preaching denominations use it at the start of the service with the congregation saying it from memory. Prove yourself herewith!!

Methinks you are not understanding what they say. Proof required!!!

Here is the Apostles Creed. Use it to demonstrate where anything antiChrist is in it. Notice the word catholic is not capitalized meaning it refers to the whole body of believers not the Catholic Church. In some versions the word universal is used instead.
PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!

Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Did Moses have a relationship with God?
Abraham? (shall I continue?)
Did either of them know Jesus before they died?
Where did they end up?

Not biblical? Read it again.

Romans 2:14-15
(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)

Wrong!

You are mixing old covenant and new covenant provisions. That won't work.

That they don't know Jesus was Abraham's God, Moses' God, etc... is what makes it not work. Would you agree?

Faith is faith and in God's eyes the deed was already done......David speaks of his salvation in the present tense in the Psalms under inspiration which is impossible if he was not saved......
There is more than one kind of salvation. Was he talking about the salvation of his soul? Eternal life?

I'll throw this in for information purposes. Not at all to detract from their answer to you in future. Should they choose to answer.

That and the fact that Christ was not available in His assigned form ...i.e. Savior....when they were here.

Simple. God knew the end from the beginning. When he set creation into motion he made the solar system have eclipses. Eclipses have condemned countries in history. When an eclipse has gone across a nation that nation that nation was condemned and suffered accordingly. God knew who would and who wouldn't believe and act on that belief.

This shows the awesome power of God!!

We had an eclipse cross the US from east to west. We will in 2024 have an eclipse cross from northeast to southwest crossing 7 cities named Salem. This was set in motion at creation. The awesome foreknowledge to accomplish this is astounding demonstrating His knowledge of the future.
More evidence piling up to support the idea that God is the final judge.

Explain this scripture from your point of view.

Really?

Please list them and show supporting scriptures.
Really just two kinds from my perspective. The salivation of our soul is not at question. God's salvation from situations is the other one. Here are some scriptures. These are probably what dc is referring to.

2 Samuel 22:3
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior— from violent people you save me.

Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 62:2
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Psalm 62:6
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
