Well, husband worked most of the day since he was on call, so it wasn’t a normal thanksgiving day.

For many years, I didn’t have a normal thanksgiving because it would be our district youth convention. Sometimes I miss it. Sometimes I don’t lol

We had a family get together with relatives. It was nice and the food was good.

Like most everyone else, I ate way too much of everything that I shouldn't have eaten yesterday. :)

This is why I try, if I can, to only get enough to last one day (and also why I don't do much fancy cooking), so that I can hopefully get back to a healthier routine the next day.

Goodbye, pizza and candy. :(

Good morning workout, scrambled eggs, and spinach.

Goodbye WHAT?

Good morning WHAT?!

If I was ending a day with pizza and candy, and beginning a day with workouts, I think I would sleep in for at least three days.

I am spending the day at home with the sick 6 year old. I'm not feeling too spiffy myself. On top of it all, I'm struggling with the unexpected loss of a friend I loved very much.
Dinner will consist of homemade chicken tortilla soup and fresh baked coffee cake.
I am thankful for God's love, family, friends, and all the wonderful blessings in my life.
