The pain and suffering we know never points to Your indifference just to how much we need your invested concern.
So regardless of the day we choose to celebrate the birth of You, I hope it pleases You to know that honoring you is a pleasure; it makes perfect sense to me that we would choose to make the day special by giving to one another because there is nothing and noone on earth as selfless and as generous as You.
Jesus, do You have a Christmas list? What can a girl get for someone that already has everything? How can I bless You? I guess that I already know…
I will keep You before me at all times, because You are at my right hand. Thanks to You, I will renew my thoughts and rewrap my heart to You, and to Your others. If You are willing, I will love more selflessly and extend more mercy, regardless the return. I will shine Your light more reverently, if You are willing. If it is Your will, I'll be less weary in the caring, in the praying, in the sharing, in the growing, and in the doing. How can I exalt You more, worship you more? Oh I know... by trusting You more, by making less and less of me, and more and more of You.
