Pretty sure he's overlooking at least one thing that Jesus said... to Nicodemus, here:

John 3:12 -

"12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?"

[ (addressed to 'the Church which is His body'--->) [first verse 19's negatives] "...those minding earthly things. 20 For our citizenship exists in the heavens, from whence also we are awaiting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our body of humiliation, conformed to the body of His glory, according to the working enabling Him even to subdue all things to Himself." Earthly things meant Israel's earthly things/things legitimately addressed to/for/about Israel. Note: I'm not saying that everything [100%] in the synoptic gospels is for Israel solely... But do note what Peter stated [to the "ye men of Israel" v.12] in Acts 3:26 and context: "Unto you FIRST God having raised up His Servant Jesus [to a position of prominence during His earthly ministry BEFORE His death], SENT HIM to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."]

Why are so many bucking against Paul on the threads??? I've read a few threads where Paul has been blasted here lately and seems like some are pitting Paul against Jesus for some reason.

I've never read where Paul contradicted Jesus or went against him in anyway. If it is there would someone be so kind to point it out???? Because, really, I have never seen it!
Its the MO of the father of lies. What God call together as one Satan divides. And what God call separate the father of lies calls together as one turning things upside down

Methinks Peter and Paul were far closer in their teachings than you would lead us to believe........

2 Peterf 3:15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Because Peter was sent to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles does NOT prove that Peter DID NOT believe in the New Covenant Grace.
In the 3rd and 4th Chapters of Acts, Peter clearly preaches the Gospel of Christ JUST AS did Paul.
Exactly right, Peter was sent to the Jews who received the gospel of grace FIRST, and then Paul was sent to the Gentiles. There was a time lapse between the two , but forgot how long.....if anyone knows, I'd like a reminder.

You do not not see the Disciples like Peter or Yeshua's half brother and leader of the Council James writing about GRACE because they are following the sole example of God in the flesh (Christ). And Christ taught that we are not or ever will be under the "Grace of God," but that we are under the "Mercy of God." And that Mercy has been extended from Calvary to the "Second Coming," which will be the end of Mercy and beginning of God's wrath.

Paul never carried this message of Mercy. Which is why I bet the Disciples and the Council never read any of Paul's letters. Had they read them and seen Paul preach a different message than Christ (God in the flesh), there would have been issues over it. All throughout the New Testament we see from the Disciples, Luke, James, Jude, and others ALL speaking about the MERCY of GOD. Only in Paul do we see this Grace message. That is why I believe the Grace message today is FALSE and HERETICAL. Because anyone with actual close and personal ties with Yeshua (God in human form) writes about the MERCY of GOD!!
Huh???
Now we have the " Jesus right/Paul wrong" heresy??

Wow. What a hoot
Good grief guys Jesus fullfilled the law. It's not gone it's complete. Take a new perspective of it now as being written on your heart the perfect law of Liberty. Become the character of the reborn. The 10 personally traits, or character attributes, even passions. The ten way that I love the Lord.
Yes.
Of course.
Without the panaramic picture the pieces are pieces to be arranged at will.
Hence new teachings/personal revelations.
( making the word a flawed book)

People hate paul because

1. They think he teaches a license to sin

2. He puts the law in its place. Which to a layer, is dangerous.

I love the word of God.
The book of samuel seems to be the heartbeat of heaven, the heart being the lovely and wonderful king Jesus.

How do people muddy up the inspired word of God to make it into some flawed book fighting itself???

Where would this mindset originate and MIRACULOUSLY gain a sliver of traction.
