Hey y’all!

I have always claimed to be a Christian my entire life but I didn’t know what that meant until recently. My relationship with God started when I decided I wanted to know more about God other than just going to church to make an appearance. Since then, I have watched myself grow so much in Christ. Granted, I am not where I want to be, but I am definitely not where I was. I am looking forward to making to new friends and getting to know people on here!

I am glad to hear that you are growing in Christ. I'm not where I want to be either but I'm not where I used to be either. There are a lot of members here that are worth knowing and possibly become friends with. Looking forward to your posts. Glad to have you as part of our community. Welcome to CC.

Hi David, welcome to CChat. I really appreciated what you shared about yourself and can totally relate, especially to the part about not being where I want to be (but I really liked the "but I'm definitely not where I was." I REALLY liked that, and I'm so thankful that it's true for me, too.) Again, welcome. :)

What a lovely moment that was being on the receiving end of those words...thank you, Gracie. Seems to me, though, dear Sister, what you are recognizing in me is the Jesus in you. You improved my day as well..thank you, hugs to you and yours from me and mine... :) ♡

Oh me oh my, I just realized we were having a Christ centered love fest on dearwood's new member post. Well, at least it is good that others know what they are getting into.
