I already posted a reply to a thread before introducing myself. I guess I did it backwards and should have said "Hi" before posting.
I live 23 miles north of Seattle, Washington in Everett. We are a smaller city than Seattle. We are known for lot's of rain falling here in the Pacific Northwest, yet we just had three days of record breaking hot weather during last week. A month ago we had so much snow fall that the cities around here were practically shut down. I'm a truck driver and my company shut down a few days because of the snow. My wife and I were in Edmonton, Alberta last week on vacation. There was hot weather there too. We attended a Christian conference there sponsored by Randy Clark and Global Awaking. The conference theme was on "Revival." It was an awesome time of preaching and teaching with anointed praise and worship. We left there on-fire and refreshed in our spirit's as there was also a powerful move of the Holy Spirit at the conference. We are attending a new church here in Everett, and feel right at home. Looking forward to the summer months and Bible camp in which we attend every summer at Cannon Beach, Oregon with our grandkids. Feeling right at home here too. A couple of members already welcomed me via what I posted earlier. I am looking forward to interacting with "ya all" and continuing to grow in the things of the Lord. Although, I've been a Christian many years, I haven't arrived, and won't until I arrive in heaven. There is always room to continue to grow and mature in the things of God and His word. Blessings to all here! Mike

Welcome to CC, Mike!
I grew up in Victoria so I understand the weather out there. Glad to have you aboard. By the way, the coffee here is better than the burnt sludge they serve in Seattle. ;)

Thanks for the welcome! Are you in another part of Canada?
And yes, the coffee is much thicker here in Everett. But I like sludge anyways! :coffee: Oh, by the way, they try not to burn it anymore, but it is well done!:)

I'm now in Saskatchewan. It's flatter here. You can watch your dog run away... for three days.

A warm welcome to you Mike. It's good to have you with us. When I think of British Columbia, I think of only one place......Whistler! Now that's heaven! Have you skied Blackcomb at Whistler? We look forward to chatting with you. Greetings!

Thank you Isny for the welcome to CC forum. Yes, I've heard BC has some nice slopes at Whistler. But unfortunately, I've never been up on ski's before. But have done a little ice skating back in the day.

There are a few peeps on this site who live in your neck of the woods so you should feel right at home. Looking forward to interacting with you as well. You are right in saying that you will only arrive as a Christian once you reach your destination for repentance is a life-long process leading to sanctification. Glad to have you as a member of our community. Blessings to you as well. Welcome to CC.

Thank you all for you kind and warm welcome's. It's nice to have new brothers and sisters in the Lord to fellowship with and chat about topics that relate to the Christian lifestyle and walk. I hope we can learn some new biblical issues from one another as well as be an encouragement to each other. I'm looking forward to getting to know you, the forum members here at C.C. :)
