You ever run into those miracle kind of people? You know...gifts from God. I was fortunate tonight. A warm and wise soul that confirmed God is in control. I know because after we said goodbye, I felt more whole. Yup, there is so much to be grateful for, but at the top of my list are kind and compassionate people with hearts made by God. She wasn't a long time friend, or someone I know real well, but in our brief time in friendly fellowshipping, her mostly listening, I feel certain, in Christ, we are family. Yup, thank you Lord for warm, safe and healthy encounters with Your people.

Yep, we are indeed smiling.
We are learning to keep our eyes and hearts open to see God at work.
The Lord sends people our way sometimes and we miss them. (Or we find out after the fact!!)
Keep being the engourager on CC. We need it!

What a warm and encouraging thing to say and pray. Thank you so much. I am not sure that I deserve it, but I will say that I see the love of the Lord in you. I am so grateful for you. He is our hope, huh? Lord reveal your love and mercy so strong in our hearts, that we can not help1 radiate You forward to others.

I'm just bored, no car, raining cats & the bus to Walmart requires a transfer, and both busses only run once an hour.

Interacting here really helps me. It makes feel like a part of something.

A car with insurance, maintenance, payments etc., would be a super luxury for me now as I'm retired on a fixed income. This town is no metropolis either. And the theaters a way over priced. Who want's spend $20 on a movie and popcorn? Alone?

Well yeah, it is so expensive but alone is not so bad. I mean having time with others is nice, but a movie alone can be fun too. You sound strong and real about all you encounter. I pray you have lots of encounters with His people too, and even more with Him. I agree, it is nice to have a safe and welcoming place to belong. It matters and it is important and because of Him, we have family in Him.

It's harder when the one I'd like to be with the most is 2200 miles away but everything having is worth waiting for. My son in law had 2 congestive heart failures 2008 and 2012. He was down for several years with immigrations problems to boot. No SSI. My daughter was an operator at an Obama care call center. When it went belly up so did her job. They're both working now, from home. He got his first paycheck in about 10 years on the 21st and she's been with Ancestry dot com since about Thanksgiving. Everything is slowly getting better PTL. I'm really feeling impatient but I live life on life's terms now and sometimes positive change just takes time and faith.

awesome that they found work at home. Ancestry.com work at home seems nice. It has to be hard being 2200 miles away and being patient. I will pray for renewed strength in Him, and for your son n law and daughter.

My Grandson's in the Navy now Oldest granddaughter is getting recruited by colleges now, She grads. High School at the end of THIS semester They won't need this giant house any more. The internet here is terrible to many storms for small sat dish internet. And the cable uses satellite too! They'll be happy to move.

3 satellite dishes. Totally unreliable in Tornado alley.
