Freedom from sin means sinning no longer, hence "any man who sins is a slave to sin, but if the son sets you free, then you will be free indeed" and "whoever is born of God cannot sin".
No a slave to sin is a person who is bound to not sin, thus he is slave to being perfect.

A person is only freed from slaver from sin when he is given grace.

Again, you do not understand what sin is..

And once again, Your first john quote. That means habitual sin, It does not say he can not commit any more sin. Your not readfing the whole passage correctly

No, John meant if we say we have never sinned, then we deceive ourselves, because he would not otherwise contradict himself and say, "he who is born of God cannot sin" and "whoever sins has neither sin or known him". You twist the scripture to justify your own continual sin.
No, If this was true, He would have said, If we say we have NEVER Sinned, we decieve ourselves

He does not, he says if we say WE HAVE NO SIN (present tense) we decieve ourselves

Your interpreting the bible to suit your belief system, Not to see what it says.

Thinking that you can carry on sinning and using belief as a justification for that continuance of sin is no righteousness at all, it is lawlessness. You deceive yourself.
Why is it you refuse to acknowledge all the people I have shown you from scripture who continued to sin long after they were found by God to be saved? I have said it at least twice now and I am sure others have also yet not once have you even commented on those people.

Your being dishonest, and once again slandering people. And exposing yourself to the whole chatroom

Now to answer this question, but you do nto get out of the fact you have refused to acknowledge the powerful men of God who sinned many grave sins LONG after they were saved.

My response to this post....
Well you do not know me at all.

So once again you slander what you can not comprehend.

Your pride is your downfall dude.

You can not learn because you think. You have already arrived. Well continue on being deceived, People can see what you are

That says we are saved by grace through faith and not of works.

How is that the same as saved by faith alone?
Ok, so it is faith + grace.

Now take a look at some of the things Jesus said concerning salvation:

> To the young rich ruler Jesus said: "Keep the commandments";

> To His disciples: "Your justice must exceed the one of the Pharisees"; "obey the scribes and the Pharisees"; "sell all you have and give alms";

> To the one who said “I will follow you”, Jesus answered: “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head”;

> Anyone who says, “You fool! will be in danger of the fire of hell;

> It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God;

> To those who once in a lifetime fail to help the needy:

.....44“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and
.....did not help you?’
.....45“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
.....46“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Do you still think Jesus and Paul preached the exact same thing?

Yes

Jesus was trying to show people who sinful they truly are, and offering grace as the end result (john 3 4 and 6 are great examples)

Paul taught no different. As he also exposed peoples sins.

A slave to sin commits sin, whereas someone who has been freed from sin commits no sin, for he has been perfected by becoming freed from that which caused him to sin in the first place, sin in the inward man. By your own actions you reveal if you have been set free from sin or not, that is why "by their fruits you will not know them".

That is precisely what he said, for in the Greek to say, "if we say we have no sin" means in English "if we say we have never sinned". That is why he John later says, "he who is born of God cannot sin" and "he who sins has neither sin or known him", because he saying that we have all sinned, in the past, and then at some point, we need to sin no more, from the present and onwards. You deliberately misunderstand the passage because fundamentally you do not want to stop sinning, so you make yourself believe in a lie, twisting scripture, and get angry at people like myself who tell you the truth that you must "stop sinning", which coincides with what the Messiah said, "sin no more" and "be perfect".

The perfection that exists now under the new covenant is greater than the perfection that existed then under the old covenant, for under the old covenant men who were commended for being perfect sinned once or twice in their lives, yet now under the new covenant, true perfection to never sin again is possible through belief in Yeshuah and the airflow of God. Once the airflow of God enters through the airflow of the nostrils, through belief in Yeshuah and obedience to the Torah, he cuts away sin in the inward man, thus perfecting him and causing him to obey God perfectly. But if you live your whole life thinking you never need to stop sinning, you cannot receive the airflow of God that perfects, and remain a slave to sin, on a path to destruction.

This is not biblical my friend

You do not understand what sin is.

Learn what it is, then come back and maybe then we we can actually have a discussion. Until then there is nothing but hot air coming out.

No

If in the enligh I want to say we have never sinned.

I would say if we say we have never sinned....

I would not say if we have no sin (ie, if we say we are not sinning now)

It is, I have quoted you scripture, but because you reject the truth, you think that what I told you are my words, when they are in fact the words of scripture.

But the scriptures were not written in English, they were written in Greek, and in Hebrew. The English version of the scriptures you are reading are mere translations. That is why the correct translation is "he who says he never sinned is a liar", because we have all sinned, in which case, it is then necessary to stop sinning, we I have demonstrated many times is repeated over and over again in scripture.

Who

Listen, like I've told other people on here, if what I am accusing you of is not true, then by all means, affirm that these statements are true,

The Torah of God must still be obeyed.
We must stop sinning from now and onwards.
We are obligated to do good works.

But if you reject these statements, or refuse to affirm that they are true, then you yourself prove that the accusations I make against you are true, that you oppose these statements of truth.
Your fallacious non-logic proves nothing except your willingness to make up lies about others.

The Torah can be obeyed, which is why men of the scriptures were commended for their perfect obedience to the commands of God. Yet it is because of your disbelief and lack of understanding and lawlessness and refusal to stop sinning that you people say, "we cannot stop sinning".
First, these two sentences are unrelated.

Second, if you think the Torah can be obeyed, then you had better take a lamb and sacrifice it at the temple for your lies. You'll be there for Feast of Weeks anyway... right?

Don't bother with your whining about "we don't have to follow the ceremonial law"; you either obey ALL of Torah, or you fail at following it. There is NO middle ground.

Thinking that you can carry on sinning and using belief as a justification for that continuance of sin is no righteousness at all, it is lawlessness. You deceive yourself.
This is the essence of your error: you think that because we are free in Christ and led by the Spirit, that we think we can carry on sinning.

That's fallacious thinking, and it's time you stopped asserting it. You have NO evidence to support it.
