Haven't read the full thread but I do agree. There are plenty of times I feel like just a strange creature and that I don't fit in anywhere. I know the Lord loves me and I spend time on the Internet and listen to a lot of radio ministries but have felt distant from the "physical church". I just wanted to go to church one day (I work on church days) but I had off through a computing error. So I went, something didn't want me to go...idk what tbh.
I fit in. Just settled down into a random bible study with people I hadn't ever met. Just flowed in it. I stayed mostly silent because I didn't want to be rude...I did share enough to not be a total stranger and a couple people built off what I said which was cool. I talked a bit afterward with them also and it was just a very encouraging experience, like a cool drink of water and I was really thirsty.
Just being around people. A lot to be said for that. I rest in the fact that no one really gets me but the Lord and that causes me to feel lonely sometimes but there are plenty of places where we can connect. NO ONE will know you fully this side of eternity. Don't see how it could be done. We don't even fully know who we are...I'm not going to go too deep into that because sometimes I get a bit too esoteric. I spent a lot of time letting my imagination run wild as a child with the eternity concept. well..."what comes next"? My thought was since my imagination is not greater than God's anything I create his will be better. Twas quite an odd thing and I've done it a few times in my adult life as well. Of course it needs to line up with the word.
But yeah, coming to grips that he made us all pretty unique and different and yet all a part of the same body is beyond my creative abilities (obviously) and I give it a solid thumbs up.
We have to learn to set aside our differences and focus on our work together. Tis hard. I wonder if I'm the only person that feels a STRONG passion for us all moving together as one? It made sense in theory and intellectually but it hasn't been until the past year where I feel like it's of utmost significance right now. Feels like there are attacks left and right and quite frankly it scares me sometimes that people are blasé about it. I get that Jesus has got this but we have to respond also so it gets confusing.

I appreciate you Jack and I will see you tomorrow. I think the more broken we are in the world, the more we appreciate God lifting us up from the mire. I fully realize I am nothing without Jesus. He even has me driving a nice Cadillac to drive around, but it means nothing for it is of the world. Not to say I can't enjoy for a while. It is a nice ride and an SUV which I am fond of.
He also gave me a five acre farmette in the Pine country of North Central Arkansas that I dreamed about as a teenager in the very same area I dreamed it. He then took it back away, no problem, it still meant nothing. I did manage to put my mother and brother in a room there so they could pass away amid loved ones. Then it came time to leave and I did. But He spoils me and it makes me chuckle. Because I build my treasure in heaven in New Jerusalem which Christ will bring to me when He is ready. These earthly things matter not. Nite ya all.

some people going to identify with what comforts them rather than ask why they feel the way they do
Jesus was not a misfit as someone said, in fact He was very popular when he was healing, raising from the dead, teaching and feeding folks
it was the sin thing people didn't like...don't wanna know about that cause means I need to to do something
everyone in this world feels alone at one time or another. our perception is skewed.
actually sin is the factor that causes the rift towards God and each other
