Hi. My name is Artur and I ask for help in prayers, or even in counseling, because I am not doing right. I go to church, but I am going out with prostitutes. I hope I will do it no more, but I feel so lonely.

Thrill and risk are very addictive. They stimulate the release of feel good chemicals to the brain. And when they stop flowing, depression usually follows. There is a connection between addictive and mood disorders. That has been well established by now. Gamblers and adrenaline junkies have similar links.

Admit that you are powerless on your own without the help of God. Realize that HE has all power and ask him to help you. Then just follow his directions. There might a Sex Addicts anonymous or a Celebrate Recovery meeting for your home group of recovering friends to fellowship and study with. You're not the only one.

"I pray you find what is needed in your life. Over two decades ago I hit bottom due to an addiction.
And, I reached out for help, because alone we normally will not overcome our problem. Obviously
church is not the answer, as many cannot overcome their own preoccupied agendas'. A trusted person
that will listen and offer valid advise would be worth thinking about for help. A spiritually
grounded person is an individual that has the ability to help cope with life."

Hello, I pray you keep calling out to Him, Jesus, drawing nearer and nearer to Him, making the desire for His companionship stronger than anything this world can offer. I will add you to my prayers.

It makes me sad that some churches are so judgmental that they seem to have difficulty accepting and helping with real world problems. I've been to many 12 step meetings that rented a church basement or fellowship area on a weekly or even on a daily basis for AA/NA groups to meet.

My name is Jerry and I am a drug addict. Nicotine is my drug of choice. I hope to one day be free of this addiction, that in all likelihood will shorten my life. We all have issues that need to be addressed. I will pray that God will provide a more wholesome approach to address your loneliness. Keep going to church too. You may indeed need counseling. I would consider the counsel of calibob as he has considerable experience in treating various addictions and will not judge you. God Bless You.

Thank you Jerry. I'm from a very large metro area. over 14 million people crowded within 200 miles along a coast. There are many christian 12 step groups that cover a wide range of addictions including Alcohol, Drugs, Overeating, Sex, Gambling and Co-Dependency just to mention a few. There are many Christians in recovery and we have meetings every day and night somewhere.

You usually don't have to be a member at the places that hold the meetings to attend. It's a good place to meet a sponsor to help.

You are worth more than needing to buy attention from women who sell themselves for cash.
Your sense of self worth is the issue. When you are created in the image and likeness of the greatest creative power in all creation you are beautifully and wonderfully made. You are unique and when you pass from this world there will never ever again be any one that is just like you were.

People pay a fortune for art that is a masterpiece one of a kind. Meanwhile, you, me, all of us, were born that.

Believe in yourself. You are someone who is worth more than buying women who think so little of themselves that they sacrifice their life and their health for money.
You are all in my prayers. You and those women of the night. May God's great and awesome eternal power breath light into your sadness and theirs. Amen.
