my brother used to call his partner "babe" ..very often and in public..after a while i forgot what her real name was

"pumpkin" is one which my partner likes to be called. it amuses me. when you think of all those vegetables like sweet potato, radish, garlic, cauliflower, broccoli...….

I’m weird but I have certain terms that I want to wait until we’re like planning to be engaged/married to use. Because like to me at that point they aren’t just flippant pet names, but a verbally swift way of saying “I’m yours and you’re mine.”

Those would be like honey, darling, or beloved. Yes I have called someone my beloved before. I’m sappy.
