I am a retired TV engineer, and in my daily work I restored the lost vision and sound on people televisions. If I was to say music, speech and pictures surround us, people would think I was insane, but if you think about it, the entire world, even into space, is filled with all the information contained in films, music and videos. We just do not have the senses necessary to see, hear and decode the music and pictures that surround us.

If only we had the eyes and ears to hear and see we would know we are in the presence of Almighty God whose spirit like the wind, “bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (Joh 3:8 KJV)

The presence of God surrounds us. At work, I used to tune into the TV channels, but now I tune into God. Does it not frighten you that God’s presence the Holy Spirit, is with us every moment of the day, watching, waiting, hearing and seeing our every moment?

Thoughts anyone?

Thinking on your post without hope would be terrifying, not just scary. As per infinite wave signals, my voice is out there annoying anyone with the wherewithall to hear it. (I was a ssb fasttalk radio operater at a SAC base back in the early 1960's, so those infinite waves continue their journey.) God bless you. Lots to think on in your post.

Rather than being frighten by this I take comfort in knowing that God is always watching over me.

Oddly enough this morning about an hour after you posted I was listening to a sermon, and the preacher was comparing not hearing God's voice or apprehending His presence to living in a two-dimensional world, like a piece of paper - with someone three-dimensional bringing their face fractions of an inch close to the page. They could be infinitely close to you but completely unobserved because you lack the ability to sense the third dimension.
Also, if they were to pass through that two dimensional plane, you would scarcely be able to comprehend them, because all you would see are two dimensional slices, in your limited understanding and ability to perceive the true whole.
This is like with radio or television - though all this information is constantly in a cloud around us, we never perceive it without both an antenna that is able to receive the waves - and also - a mechanism that can decode it and translate it to something we can understand. You can receive the signal on your television for a channel you don't have rights to view, because the antenna receives all - but it will be incomprehensible static without the key that opens it to you, if the owner of the broadcast encrypts it so.

One day we shall see the Lord face to face and that is something to treasure. :)

The Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of Light, has my earnest and deepest sympathies. Having to "filter" the "cacophony" of "noise" that His creation "sees fit" to put out there!

When Jesus ascended into heaven, he sent the Comforter and told us that where two or three are gathered together in His name, he would be there in our midst. It is good to lift our voice to God in praise.
