What to do with works-salvationists? Are they saved? Is it just that they believed a false teaching or never saved at all?
We are to be led of the Spirit and do the works of the Spirit and not the flesh.
The Bible says a Spirit led life will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, for they have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
What if you do not do the works of the Spirit but hold unto sin.
Which the Bible says if we sin willfully after having received the knowledge of the truth then there is no more sacrifice for sins, which the blood of Jesus cannot wash away a sin that a person holds on to.
Which we know there are hypocrites that do not act like Christ which the Bible says they have a form of godliness, but deny being led of the Spirit, from such turn away, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, and it points out their sins.
Which the Lord knows them that are His having this seal that everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Which Paul said awake to righteousness and sin not, but some have not the knowledge of God.
What if we do not allow the Spirit to lead us and do the works of the Spirit are we saved.
Paul said out of faith, hope, and charity, love in action, works, that charity is the greatest.
Love is greater than faith, and faith works by love.
No love, no faith, and love has to be done in works for faith to apply in our life.
Which love is the fulfilling of the law.
What if we lack works of love are we saved.
Which Paul said that he could have all faith so that he could remove mountains, but if he did not have charity then he is nothing.
And if anybody preaches that God blesses with money and material things for their wants from such withdraw yourself having food and clothing be content.
For the love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy, and if they go by their wants which neglects those in need then they have erred from the faith.
For a person must have the proper perspective of faith that God is love and loves people, and His kingdom is love, and Jesus said feed and clothe your enemies, and pray for them, and bless them, so no one is left out of this love.
So people that go by their wants above their needs do not love properly therefore faith does not apply in their life.
Paul said that love does not think an evil thought, and does not sin which a Spirit led life can abstain from sin if they hate sin, and do not want sin.
So are we saved if we do not do the works of the Spirit, and there is many hypocrites that enjoy worldliness, and their wants, and think they are saved by faith.
When Paul said we are saved by faith, and not by works he is saying when we first confess Christ for that is all we can do, and our works cannot save us.
But then Paul speaks when a person receives the Spirit that without works of love then they are nothing and have erred from the faith.
Which James said without charity their faith is dead, and Paul and James says the same thing for James points out loving people, and to obey God which Paul said love does not think an evil thought, and does not sin.
And John says that without charity then the love of God does not dwell in them, so do not love in word, or in tongue, but love in deed, works, and truth.
For love is greater than faith, and love has to be done in works for the person to have faith which if they do not have works of love then their faith is dead.
Grace works by faith, and faith works by love, and love is greater than faith.
No love, no faith, no grace.
Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Jesus said He will go against those who lack works of love, and do not love people like they should if they do not repent of it and do what is right.
Are we saved if we do not do works of the Spirit for how can we neglect those works but many do neglect those works by being hypocritical and then say faith can save them.
And for anybody that would say that the works salvationists people have no salvation then consider this.
No person says Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost, but they confess that so God has to be working in their life.
And no person comes to the Son unless the Father draws them, but they confess Jesus, so God has to be working in their life.
And Peter said Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, but they confess this, so God has to be working in their life.
If they are not saved why is God working in their life, and for those that believe OSAS why is God working in their life.
For many are called but few are chosen.
Which the Bible says many times we have to be led of the Spirit, and stop sinning, and be Christlike, and only go by our needs, and help the poor and needy, and warns us if we do not take heed to that then we are not right with God.
That is all they are saying when they say works which the Bible says if we do not continue in the goodness of God we shall be cut off.
What works do people think they mean but to be like Christ and have works of love, which we have to have works of love for faith to be in our life, for love is greater than faith.
But many lack works of love and then think faith alone will save them.
Why the lack, why the hypocrisy to enjoy sin, and money and material things, and enjoy worldly movies, and music, and things of the world, and then say all we need is faith, but lack love.
So obviously we have to have works of love and the Spirit will not twist our arm to do what is right so that responsibility is on us, for we have to make the choice to do what is right before the Spirit will lead us.
