Despite my blessings that I am so very thankful for, I confess I have been in a season of brokenness. One that it seems has been coming for awhile. It has taken me to depths unfamiliar to me, lower than ever before. I remind my knowing that I must not give up and cleave to my Lord. To my master on my spiritual knees, letting go of any need for anything but Him.

Anyway, my daughter recommended a book that has been such a blessing so I wanted to share. If you are in a less than comfy season, consider looking at this book.

Mac Lucado's Traveling Light. It is filled with biblical truths and might offer a reminder to your spirit as it did mine just how blessed we are when we let go of all things, finding contentment and peace in Him alone.

I pray we all continue to embrace our Lord with tender loving care, rejoicing always in Him.

Much love in our beautiful and sufficient Lord and Saviour.

https://livinghisword.org/what-does-it-mean-to-be-set-apart-for-god/ this may or may not help. If you try and confirm to the world and to Jesus at the same time, it is impossible and makes life very difficult, its one or the other. I know how difficult it is, as I have been through it. I am still a work in progress, thanks to the patience of the Lord and what he has had me do physically to represent that.

Oh that is thought provoking... the problem of confirming to the Jesus and the world at the same time. Thank you.

JOHN 14:27.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Peaks and valleys, the bones and skins of our 'new-walk-in-Christ' -
our prayers are with you and yours sweetheart...

1 John 2:15 - "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, 1he love of the Father is not in him."

Ideally every day of our lives would be filled with joy but that
can never be. Not only in joy but the entire world is yin and
yang. If we had never suffered, we would never know what joy
is. At the low points prayer is really essential. But even with
that we can't buy joy or borrow it. When it is ready it will shower
it's graces upon you. Be still and trust God and the answer will come.

Romans 8:18 New International Version (NIV)
Present Suffering and Future Glory
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Hi CharliRenee. I am so sorry for what you have been experiencing. Sometimes there are no reasons that make sense. We don't know why it starts or when it will end. All I can say is that the love and kindness you have shared with people here really speaks to your heart. You mean a lot to a lot of people. You are an encourager and prayer warrior. Even now, by sharing, you give permission to others to admit to struggling. It does not help anyone when we are told to act happy if we are not. We are allowed our seasons. I will be praying for you. I've gone through times of such emotional pain it hurt to breath. They were real. Thank you for being so honest and if there is anything you need from your sisters and brothers here please ask. If you have certain prayer requests please feel free to message me. It would be a privilege. I am betting there are many others who would like to be able to lift you up. You are pretty special.

Here as well, Charli Bear, it is no accident we were drawn here for His kingdom, to share one another's burdens till we are with Him.
That will be soon, the short time we have left here is the only time for eternity we will be away from his presence.
bless you

It is wonderful seeing you here sharing your gift(s) of wisdom. It seems our goal is to want nothing unless it is of our Savior. We pray this, and rely that He finish the work He began in each of us, that perfection that will only be on His day when HE completes us.

This not being perfect in this age is annoying but we have our Champion toget us through. Praise Jesus, Yeshua, and all glory be to Him. May all your losses be turned to triumphal gain in our Savior, amen.

Thanks for consistently being a safe place to go and for not defining me by this. I can not count the times your words have blessed me here, not just the ones spoken to me. I think many agree with me. Thank you for your kindness and YOUR encouragement. Your genuine heart radiates through the keyboard, truly. I really appreciate your prayers, Sister. Hey, I hope you know that I want to be here for you too.

Love the way you expressed this because it describes it well...

I've gone through times of such emotional pain it hurt to breath...

I am glad you made it through those times. Please know that should this happen again, my heart and prayers are open to you. Thanks for blessing me this day.

He has already blessed me with so much kindness in the way you and others have responded. Thank you Brother. Lol@it is annoying. Cuz, dang it, sometimes it hurts. But you are so right... HE completes us and our Champion. I am so thankful that He who knows who He is dealing to the core with loves us at our weakest. You are so so so right. Praise His Holy Name. And yes we shall not want. With Him, we are so blessed. Thanks you, brother.
