And what pray tell provoked that thought? Just a bit judgmental isn't it? Not one of the fruits produced by the Holy Spirit. Perhaps you are feeling sorry for yourself?

My salvation is secure in the Savior Jesus so you need not concern yourself over my salvation.

For the cause of Christ

No luck needed. But salvation only comes from those who put faith in Jesus Christ as the one and only Messiah. As to why no luck is needed. Righteousness is only given through faith. I highly stress to weigh the evidence and debate your beliefs. This choice must be made in life. It is too late in death. And the longer we live, the closer death comes. If Jesus was truly who Jesus claimed to be then you are in trouble. Dont shoot the messenger for delivering the message. Dont judge the message by the messenger but examine the message for truthfulness.

Sorry to see you go the thing is if you look for faults in Christians you will surely find them and if I looked for your faults I would also be able to spot them. Better to look for the good in everyone. I will miss seeing your good meals. Continue the good life it is better with Jesus.

Lon -

It appears alot of genuine people on this post care about you.

People will say things on CC that may not be completely Biblically aligned, but you will find that anywhere in any church you visit and regularly attend.

However, all I can do is accept and respect your decision of removing yourself from a family of Believers.

May the Lord be with you, help you, and guide you on your next venture.

I will think Positive Thoughts for your salvation & well being.
Thank you, Lon, for visiting. I wrote to you earlier in one of your threads believing that you were drawn to this site and drawn for good reason. I still believe that. There's a famous scripture that's almost quoted as much as the Lord's Prayer. It's John 3:16 that says 'For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have life everlasting" and I'm sure you've heard it before. But here's something you may not know about that verse. In Greek, the word "world" was translated from "kosmos" which is the adornment of the universe. God considers you adornment, the perfection of what He has made. What John 3:16 is talking to is the UN believer. You. For God so loved YOU. You are the whosoever.

I'm going to let you down, Lon. Fail you. I'll let you stay in the dark and you can justify being there by my actions. Every one of us will fail you. It's more comfortable staying in the dark than to understand why you were drawn here. So, I'll pray the winds continue to blow and that you understand you are beauty and precious in His sight. He wants for His prodigal son.

Your thread title tells me you're very angry. That's a sad way to leave a community of Christians.
God be with you. Goodbye.
I am not one that ever angers. It's just not my nature. Why do you say I am angry?

Only the Perfect One knows and can judge our hearts. What you said won't happen, maybe the petty squabbling, but if it's done through love, it's all good.
Romans 8:1 King James Version (KJV)
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

You may not be angry, but you DO seem to be very judgmental of us "self-righteous, petty squabbling Christians"..
