R u a good listener, do you hang on to the words of others, not allowing the mind to wonder? Do you think about what you will say in response as they are sharing? Are you interested in their minds and what they have to share. Are you fully invested and interested as you listen?

Full disclosure...

It is a struggle for me, and I am reminded that those most rare and sacred to me are those that listen. It is so comforting to have a caring ear.

So today and every day is a great day to listen to the One who listens best, our Lord and Savior.

Brothers and Sisters, may we all draw near to Him, not for what He can do for us, but for who He is.

Curry brought up this morning a time he was instructed to turn off a certain show, it wasn't till he had made the commitment and followed through in obedience that G-d then told him why... it is such a two way relationship he is bringing us all into, those that are His, this appears to be how the End Times Revival is starting. bless you all in Jesus name.
Listening is one way He will speak to us through others, as you just did, thank you sister!

I can definitely say I'm not a good listener unless I really really REALLY try. When it's like an emotional emergency I tend to know to keep my yapper shut, but I tend to be more of a talker.

I’ve always been the shoulder my friends come to cry on, and or to vent too, and to share their thoughts and feelings. And I only share my thoughts if being asked. Even in high school my friends came to me to just “talk” and if they wanted my advice I would offer.

Listening to others is one of my strengths... talking my feelings out however... is not lol.

What a precious blessing you are. We all know how incredibly valuable a good listener is. I hope you do get to be on the receiving end of listening too, though? Perhaps, if you were working through your feelings might be easier. Thank God, He is ALWAYS listening and seeing.

Thank you for being a listener.

I appreciate your honesty and can relate so much to the trying necessity. The busy mind, for me, runneth a muck, Sister, lol.

I think a good balance of sharing and listening is ideal.

Thank you, brother, for walking this journey, for hanging on His every word....well at least seeking to, right? I love knowing He is bringing all His to an intimate relationship with Him.

I talk to my closets friends about stuff that really bothers me, and I also see a therapist for other things. I just feel it’s my calling in life to hear people, not necessarily “help” them.. but to be that someone they can trust and talk too, open up and just let their feelings go... cause this day in age, not everyone can afford to see a professional.

Hearing ppl is helping them. You are responding to your calling. I am honored, so sooo much, when ppl share their thoughts and feelings, good, bad, or somewhere in between. I have to remind myself of that, though, so I will shhhhhhh and fully listen. So I admire your strength of listening.

I like to think, and He has responded with evidence, as I listen and pray for them or the situation, He can and does bring healing, sometimes we walk it out with them, sometimes it's like bumper cars, where we "bump" them closer in their walk just as He will grow us as much as we will grow. Blessings

REV. 2:7.
He that has an ear, let him hear what The Spirit saith unto the Churches;
To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Sorry, were you saying something?

Somebody had to do the joke. I just happened to do it before anybody else thought about it.

If you keep it short and to the point, I might be okay. If you ramble on about something, my mind goes elsewhere. So it depends.

Taking notes, keep it simple and succint, lol
Yeah monologue talkers are challenging for me too.
