I'm from New Zealand.
some places people wear pjs in public, in Auckland it depends on what suburb is pj fashion conscious.

some suburbs of Auckland were called dormitory suburbs.
You went to work in the centre of town, and came home to sleep.

I did that for a while when I was at uni. I could have just stayed and slept in the park under a bridge and avoided the commute.

do trackpants and sweatshirts count as pyjamas or only if you wear them to sleep (do naps count as sleep?)

If so, Ive been all week in my pjs.

I literally just wear my day clothes to bed, so that’s a nice easy way to do it. However I love that pj’s are the thing where people can wear stuff that’s tacky and it’s totally awesome.

Does it have Mickey Mouse? Weird patterns? Doesn’t matter. I like the snarky ones that have saying a on them like “but first coffee”

My sister gave me ones with flowers on them and its got the names of the flowers on them as well.

Mum wears one with polka dots and I think on Dads hes got trucks or cars on them cos they are boy pyjamas.

we cant just wear 'normal' clothes to bed.

Cozy jammas I wear sometimes, sometimes just what I wore all day, and sometimes in my skibbies, just depends on the day/night.

You dont live in England do you. In England sometimes women go shops in their pyjamas. I have seen it around a good 8 times myself, that is what can remember, although i do not see it often, to be frank.

No.

I havent seen many around here but then I dont tend to go out really early in the morning or late at night. I think people might for short car trips to the dairy though. In england its probably cos it gets dark really early so people cant see anyway.
