Today was a beautiful spring day. I had the opportunity to spend some time in nature. It was so beautiful, birds a singing and a soft comfy breeze caressed my senses. It was so delightful, so serene, so cathartic. I noticed as I was taking in God's splendor, that I felt like I do when I am at home, nestled next to the fireplace. As someone who has a hard time settling down, going here and there, especially in my head, being still and knowing He is God doesn't come easy for me. I know we are not to worship the creation more than the Creator but there is a special peaceful connection I feel to God when in nature. I think most of us can relate.

Lord, You are more magnificent than Your creation, so much more, but I sure do thank you for the gift you have given in the splendor of Your great outdoors.

All Glory and Praise to You, my Lord.

Hubby and I took a drive Saturday to see all the trees in bloom. Bursts of pink, purple and white. Then Sunday we walked in a local garden, it's an historic home and the garden is open to the public. Not a lot of flowers out yet but I love the Dogwood trees. My hobby is taking pictures, so we just strolled through the garden together. I too have a hard time with settling down, so I have to do mindful things to help me. It was so beautiful, peaceful and quiet. As you said, it brings one closer to God knowing in all of this mess, He's still got it all under control.

It all sounds so very lovely and fun, like you two had such a nice weekend. Those colors popping and they never get old, huh? Trees, oh man, what are those, lol. I am in desert country. I miss green country, though here has its own beauty. Yes, being intentional is key, when I let my not so good tendencies run a muck too long, everytime He finds a way to slow me down and sometimes it is not so comfy. I know it is needed though and yes, He is in charge and working.

Thanks for sharing your weekend.

My first years convinced of Yeshua-Jesus, I would go up into the Colorado Rockies to read my Bible. After I was there a week or so, I would have a friend come and visist meafter sunup. He would come right up to my nose and hover there looking me in the eyes, or nose, who could tell. It was a hummingbird that seemed to take a shite to me.

Another year, another campsite. Tjos to,e deeèr omtp tje fpresst wotj jogj trees amd aspens surrounding me. At this site, every evening a flock of birds would come and encircle my campsite just looking at me. I figured they were just more frinds I never could find which breed these were, they were about the size of a mourning dove, same color as such, but their faces were something more like an owl...go figure.

No mastter, I foung our Maker's order of nature was and is so beautiful but somethinng happened one day while looking over his mountains andsky and greenery. In an instant I was seeing everything as more like props and things lifeless. I realized the good Lord was shoing me they are jusst that without His being within supporting all for the time, what we call time.

Of course everything is wonderful and beautiful when we see it with our Father's touch, but oh how dead it is without Him. So I know the fire next time is to remove that which is temporal in order to be replaced with that which is living, and that eternally.

Yahweh is good all of the time, amen...….

I have always loved the winter, especially the snow . I did spend part of the snowy season in a tent in (near) Roosevelt National forest near Rollins Pass. I had dto break the ice off of my sleeping bag until I figured if I left a vent in the tent flap it would not accumulate from my own breath…..
Now that I am almost an adult, I have come to appreciate the summers also, but the truly hot days to wear me down. Over all I suppose we all like all of the seans in a manner or another. I liked the white tail dear up where I was. I think if I saw an elk very close I whould high tail it away.

I laughed at squatting in your backyard, but yeah that has to be such an awesome blessing. Never grow tired of seeing such beauty, huh? Did you break dance, singing...

You are so right all of it, is for Him and His purposes. Nature is beautiful and belongs to Him. You know, and I know you do...

What may be known of God is manifest in them for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse Romans 1:19,20

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them Psalm 8:3,4.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat. Psalm 19:1-6

So we know, as you so richly experienced, nature is God's testimony, but it is sooooo good to remember, as you said, it all belongs to Him, to remember He is to remain enthroned always.

We sure as heaven know, also, that He uses His nature in so many way, including His wrath...

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:18-21

Thanks for the reminder as well as sharing your experiences. I especially appreciated your reading the bible in nature.

All Glory and Praise to our King!!!

I went to another thread and look what popped up.

He amazes me how he pulls everything together for us individually and for His body as a whole. Screenshot_20200331-084621_Bible.jpg

Noooo I don't like winter!! Had too much of that back in Canada. My uncle said there are 12ft snow drifts where he lives. they had 65 cms at one time and then more on top of that. But I have my swing out, setting up my back deck for the season. Trees are blooming, flowers are popping up. If I never saw winter again I'd be happy. lol
