People that put their faith in the Blood and Body of Yeshua/Jesus are sealed with the Holy Spirit and are NO LONGER sinners
No longer CONSIDERED sinners in the eyes of God, but still sinners nonetheless.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

That verse is referring to Jesus within us ..... the letter is a juxtaposition of Christ within who is sinless and the sin nature that we still have.

He stumbled, and we forgive him and each other and help him get back up and encourage him in the Spirit, lest we also stumble and fall.
Translation: He’s a sinner. He’s forgiven, but he’s a sinner nonetheless. Same as you. Like I said earlier: semantics.

How so?
It DIRECTLY addresses the op.
Carnal believers are walking in sin.
They still make heaven(hopefully) as pauls puts it "through fire"

Play it backwards.
The pastor preaching is carnal. Not walking in Holiness.
So he reflect his own nominal christian constitution in his preaching
"well,ya know, we are all sinners saved by grace"

Sets the bar low, because he operates in a carnal walk himself.
Correct on everything, except carnal believers are stumbling, not able to walk by the Spirit.

Semantics and senseless.
A person isn't a new creation in Christ if they're still a sinner after accepting Christ.

Wrong. Sinners will sin until the day they die, but NOT so with believers.

True born again believers will learn to walk and eventually NOT stumble anymore.
No one will become righteous ...we have righteousness imputed to us.
We are positionally sanctified... we learn to express our position in Christ outward...the flesh is not being redeemed therefore we can never be sinless.

Is it too simple to say, it is a heart matter? He knows what is false in us, and when we sincerely yearn for Him, even when we go left. Willful sinning is very different from human error. We will always need Him!!! I have a glitch or two in my character that He is working on right now. I guarantee the same is true for us all. He knows that, this is why we are to forgive one another.

The thing we need to examine is...

Are we growing in Him.
The glitch is NOT being filled with the Holy Spirit and thinking we can live a Holy life in our flesh.

I believe He is able to present us blameless because of who He is not because we are perfect.

We are being perfected, in Him, we must remain humble.

To those of you who never stumble, WOW, it must be hard not to become prideful. I do not mean that offensively. I say that because clearly, I still stumble, if not in action in my thoughts. He is always getting me back on track. I am so thankful.

Ok enough of this. Shhhhhh Charli.

Haha

I NEVER said the flesh will be redeemed. Our bodies will at the resurrection, but not our flesh/carnality is why we take up our cross, deny our flesh and follow Yeshua/Jesus. We can only do this if we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

On the contrary, the glitch is being filled with the Holy Spirit and thinking you’re sinless.

Why do you write Yeshua/Jesus all the time? It’s like me writing Laffter/Laughter.

For crying out loud, another sinless perfectionist.
God I wish people would actually read what someone says before their hunger for smartA remarks preceded thinking.
I'll say it again only as if I'm speaking aloud rather than expanding on someone elses thought.
A person isn't a new creation in Christ if they're still a sinner after accepting Christ?
That's not being saved from anything.

The flesh means different things in scripture not just the physical.

Sin resides in our flesh...it is in our soul...mind, will and emotions.

CharliRenee- you are NOT a sinner. You are a true born again believer that loves God. I know you, but just like me and all believers- we stumble because of our flesh/carnality. We fall down, we ask for forgiveness, we get back up, we don’t quit, we keep trying to walk.

We just can’t walk in our flesh, we’ll stumble every time. We are to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can walk by the Spirit and NOT fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
