And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

So the Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

I was reading Mark, and noticed John the Baptist talking about being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Then it dawned on me: how long did they know about Him? I know He didn’t come perhaps in the way we think now, but how early did the people’s know that He was part of the trinity? Hm...
Genesis revealed the Holy Spirit in creation. Also the plurality of the Godhead. “Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, there am I: And now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.” (Isaiah 48:16) (KJV 1900)

If a person does not believe all of the Bible, he believes none of it.

It is true that the Holy Spirit's presence is evidenced from the beginning in scripture. The Holy Spirit was somewhat hidden from men prior to the NT. Joel foretold of the Holy Spirit being poured out on all flesh. The Holy Spirit until Pentecost was not poured out on all flesh but abode on holy men of God from time to time in the OT. King Saul had the Holy Spirit abide on him but then when he departed from serving Jehovah the Holy Spirit departed from him.

This all goes to 1 Cor 13 where in the OT they saw in shadows but not things are made clear. Also recorded in Eph 3. Things hidden now made clear. Think about all the scripture that tells of the arrival of Messiah yet the Jews did not recognize Him.

Awesome guys!! 😁😁 Oh yeah I know the Holy Spirit has been here since the beginning of time but I guess it was more, how long was human kind aware of it? And guessing by your responses, pretty early 😁
I thinking probably pretty early that some knew about the Holy Spirit. I don't know how early. Who knows maybe Adam and Eve knew. :)

I believed in the Trinity doctrine, God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and I do not believe ( Iam sure all Malaysian Christians having the same thought as mine) that the Holy Spirit has not come till Jesus was raised to heaven. The OT scripture quoted above by fe brothers and sisters in Christ are referring to God the Father.
