Paul was DEAD long before John penned the WORDS of REVELATION.
I believe The Holy Spirit revealed his plan to all the prophets as an integrated whole.
That would include Paul & John, whichever time they occupied on earth.
There can't be 7 trumpets after the last trumpet. We have to take scripture seriously. Above doctrines.

After the Antichrist signs the Peace treaty with ISRAEL, I can tell you when the END WILL BE, because his days are NUMBERED, to 7 years.
So Pre-Trib is the only option, in my Bible.

Believe what you want, but KEEP READY ANYHOW, for the Rapture to Happen AT ANY TIME.

Matthew 25:13 (NCV)
13 So always be ready, because you don’t know the day or the hour the Son of Man will come.

The antichrist signing a peace treaty with Israel? .Which Israel? The bride that father renamed as more befitting to His bride which represents all the nations .Christian with no other meaning added... . Residents of the heavenly City prepared as his bride. named after her founder, Christ.

1 John reveals fleshly Jews as liars and antichrists (many) . The plural and singular forms must be rightly divided if we seek the end of the matter . Antichrist' singular. The one spirit of lies. Satan the evil one. He comes as the man of sin (antichrists plural) . like with Peter in Mathew 16. The man of many faces

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

The Israel that say there are Israel but are still under the name Jacob as deceivers. The outward according to the flesh, non converted Jew .

The antichrists' many are still waiting for a fleshly Jesus they could call there own God as if God was a man to begin with

Jews that have neither the father or the Son (both) are considered antichrists .many .

I wonder why almost all of the Artist that draw a picture of the the Second Temple, never research the writings of Historians?
A Historian wrote that while standing in the Eastern Gate, when all the gates were OPEN, he could see the Curtain of the Holy of Holies. Apparently during Feast Days, all the Gates were Open.

This is closer than most, but the Eastern Gate would be a little Low in this picture.

Paul was DEAD long before John penned the WORDS of REVELATION.

Paul also claimed that he said, wrote was told directly to him from Christ. And we know it was Christ who shared the vision of Revelation to John in Patmos. If the first is true, then Christ was reaffirming to John what he directed Paul to write.

How would that abomination of desolation be relevant today other than for historical value ?

How long is "long"? Revelation is generally believed to have been written around 68AD. Acts was believed to have been written at around the same time. Paul is generally believed to have been killed pretty much exactly the same year as Revelation: in 68AD.

Look how EXERCISED you get. I have never read a single thing published by him. I came to my Pre-Trib beliefs, strictly by what Scripture actually says. So you wasted your GIANT print on me.
Scripture...or also the little footnotes in your Bible?

The Scofield Bible is basically a Darby Bible. Darby started all this dispensational, British Israelite, pre-trib stuff in England--which Cyrus Scofield learned from Darby and spread it to the United States.

Scofield dumped his wife and conned her out of her life savings. He spent time in the Kansas State Penitentary for forgery. Is that the kind of Bible you want to base your salvation on? One written by someone convicted of FORGERY?

John on the Island of Patmos, Revelation 1:9-11
John was a prisoner on Patmos because he was preaching about Jesus and that He, Jesus, had been raised from the dead. John had the visions described in Revelation about AD95.
https://bibleview.org/en/bible/revelationpartone/johnonpatmos/

However, the island of Patmos declined when the Romans conquered it. It was used as a place of exile for convicts. This is how Apostle John came to Patmos, exiled by the Roman Emperor Titus Flavius Domitianus in 95 AC. In Patmos, Apostle John conveyed the inhabitants to Christianity and wrote the Book of Revelation, the Apocalypse. Patmos then became a place of worshipping and pilgrimage and actually, the culture and history of Patmos are strongly connected to the Apocalypse of Saint John.

John's Exile
The book of Revelation explicitly states that it was written while John was on the island of Patmos. This is the only book in the New Testament where the place of writing is given. According to a tradition preserved by Irenaeus, Eusebius, and Jerome, John was exiled in AD 95 during the reign of Emperor Domitian. His exile ended upon the accession of Nerva in 96.

PAUL's Death

The Apostle Paul’s writing and teaching to the early church through letters makes up the bulk of the New Testament. The Scripture gives us detailed information about his life, his conversion, and his ministry. But it says nothing about his death.

Even historians debate the exact date or manner in which Paul died, but it is almost universally accepted that he was martyred. Based on historical events of the day, it is likely that Paul was beheaded, possibly around the same time that Peter was crucified. Given the political turmoil of the day, both apostles could have been caught up in a wave of attacks on Christians following a great fire in Rome.

Rome under Emperor Nero
Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus ruled the Roman Empire from 54-68 AD. Encyclopedia Britannica and most historians agree that he was a brutal, irresponsible, and opulent ruler who was famous for persecuting Christians. He was known to force Christians into gladiator matches, where they would be eaten by lions, and “he often lit his garden parties with the burning carcasses of Christian human torches,” explains this article from PBS.
https://www.christianity.com/wiki/people/how-did-the-apostle-paul-die.html

This persecution was general throughout the whole Roman Empire, but it rather increased than diminished the spirit of Christianity. In the course of it, St. Paul and St. Peter were martyred.
Foxe's Book of Martyrs.

St. Paul the Apostle, original name Saul of Tarsus, (born 4 BCE?, Tarsus in Cilicia [now in Turkey] —died c. 62–64 CE, Rome [Italy] ), one of the leaders of the first generation of Christians, often considered to be the most important person after Jesus in the history of Christianity.

Not knowing the day & hour doesn't mean we won't recognise the season. We need oil in the lamps because we must endure.
Pre-tribulation rapture was taught to me as doctrine when I was a new Christian but I can't see a secret pre-tribulation return in scripture.

I could post piles of scripture and study-notes to back up my beliefs but there are dozens of rapture threads already.
I think it's best if I don't clutter this temple thread up with more of that.

Scofield dumped his wife and conned her out of her life savings. He spent time in the Kansas State Penitentary for forgery. Is that the kind of Bible you want to base your salvation on? One written by someone convicted of FORGERY?

Proverbs 6:16-19 (KJV)
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

He only lived in KANSAS from 1869 - 1874, but was led to the LORD, (BORN AGAIN) in 1879 by A friend, Thomas S. McPheeters, became concerned about Scofield’s heavy drinking and was determined to lead him to Christ.

The Life and Legacy of C.I. Scofield
Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1843–1921) was a significant American theologian, writer, and pastor who is best known for his Scofield Reference Bible, one of the most influential theological works of the 20th century. In it, he popularized Dispensationalism, which uses the literal, grammatical, and historical system of biblical interpretation and, therefore, separates Israel and the church. Because of this hermeneutic, Scofield saw in God’s Word a resurrection for the nation of Israel long before there was any hope of a modern Jewish state.

Scofield’s work spread systematized Dispensationalism like no other. In addition to producing the Scofield Reference Bible, Scofield is known for cofounding Philadelphia School of the Bible (now Cairn University) and founding the Central American Mission (now Camino Global).

Scofield was born in Clinton Township, Michigan, on August 19, 1843. His mother died soon after his birth, leaving him the youngest of seven children. When he was a boy, his father moved his family to Lebanon, Tennessee.

Scofield received no formal education, but since he and his family were nominal Episcopalians, his local rector encouraged him to do personal study. He was to enter the University of Virginia in 1861, but the Civil War interrupted those plans.

In 1861, when he was 17, Scofield joined the Confederate Army. He served the army well and received the Confederate Cross of Honor in 1862 for a special feat of bravery in the Battle of Antietam.

After the war, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he became a clerk at the assessor’s office in 1867 to study law. In 1869 he moved to Atchison, Kansas, finished his law studies, was admitted to the Kansas Bar Association, and became involved in politics. Twice he was elected as a representative to the Kansas Legislature. On June 9, 1873, President Ulysses S. Grant appointed him U.S. district attorney for the District of Kansas. Scofield was only 29, making him the youngest district attorney in the nation. He resigned six months later after rumors spread that he had accepted bribes.

He returned to St. Louis in 1874 and reentered the law practice there. By 1879, he had begun to drink heavily, ruining both his law practice and himself. A friend, Thomas S. McPheeters, became concerned about Scofield’s heavy drinking and was determined to lead him to Christ.

So one day in September 1879, McPheeters went to Scofield’s office and asked him why he was not a Christian. Scofield replied he was a nominal Episcopalian. McPheeters pressed him until Scofield admitted he did not know how to become a Christian. They knelt and prayed, and Scofield gave his life to the Lord. Christ changed him dramatically, delivering him from all desire for alcohol. He was a new man.

Soon afterward, someone introduced Scofield to James H. Brookes, pastor of the Compton Avenue Presbyterian Church in St. Louis. Brookes began discipling Scofield, instructing him in the Bible.

In 1880, Scofield began preaching. He organized and pastored the Hyde Park Congregational Church of North St. Louis. In the spring of 1882, the superintendent of the Congregational Home Missionary Society for the southwest invited Scofield to become the pastor of a small church in Dallas, Texas. Only 12 members attended, 11 of them women.

In Dallas, the 39-year-old Scofield started to hold prayer meetings in homes. Many people became saved. The church ordained him on October 17, 1883, and by January 1884, the church had grown to 75 members and had sent a missionary to India.

In March 1886, Scofield extensively helped Christian evangelist Dwight L. Moody in his revival campaign in Dallas. The men had become close friends during one of Moody’s campaigns in St. Louis years earlier.

By October 1886, Scofield had become well-known as a gifted Bible teacher and was in great demand as a speaker. He published his first book, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, in 1888. The following year he began a monthly journal called The Believer and also started the Comprehensive Bible Correspondence Course, which he turned over to Moody Bible Institute in 1914.

In 1888, Scofield met Hudson Taylor, a Christian missionary to China. Taylor’s passion for the mission field increased Scofield’s interest in missions, and he became specifically burdened for Central America. With the support of three of his church members, he founded the Central American Mission in 1890. Scofield became the secretary. The mission is still thriving today as Camino Global (formerly CAM International).

By 1893, Scofield headed the Southwestern School of the Bible in Dallas, was president of the board of trustees at Lake Charles College, and was superintendent of the American Home Missionary Society in Colorado and surrounding areas. He was spending about five months per year away from his church in Bible conferences and at speaking engagements. Yet his church continued to grow—reaching 550 members by the end of 1894.

As the result of another Moody campaign in Dallas in February 1895, the Trinitarian Congregational Church of Northfield, Massachusetts (Moody’s home church), called Scofield as pastor and as president of Northfield’s two prep schools founded by Moody. When Scofield left Dallas in 1895, his church had grown to 826 members.

In July 1901, Scofield joined the first of a new series of annual Bible conferences in Sea Cliff, Long Island, New York. There he met Arno C. Gaebelein, Bible teacher and editor of Our Hope magazine. Scofield told Gaebelein about his plans to publish a reference Bible, and Gaebelein volunteered to help him find financial support.

In 1902, the Dallas church called Scofield back as pastor. He accepted, thinking he would have more time for his Bible project. But his attention was divided, so he left the church for Europe in 1904 to work on the Bible.

While in England, he met the head of Oxford University Press who became enthusiastic about the project. A year later, Scofield returned to America, signed a contract with Oxford University Press, and returned to pastoring his Dallas church.

Several consulting editors helped Scofield with his reference Bible. They included Gaebelein; James M. Gray, president of Moody Bible Institute; William J. Erdman, Presbyterian minister and author; Arthur T. Pierson, author and editor; William G. Moorehead, president of Xenia Theological Seminary; Henry G. Weston, president of Crozer Theological Seminary; and Elmore Harris, president of Toronto Bible Training School. The Bible was officially published in January 1909 as the Scofield Reference Bible. Scofield then published a revised version in 1917. Today Oxford University Press still publishes the Scofield Reference Bible.

Personal life
During the early 1890s, Scofield began styling himself Rev. C. I. Scofield, D.D.; but there are no extant records of any academic institution having granted him the honorary Doctor of Divinity degree.[20] Scofield's second wife proved a faithful companion and editing assistant, but his relationships with his children were distant at best.[21] Scofield died at his home on Long Island in 1921.[22]

How long is "long"? Revelation is generally believed to have been written around 68AD. Acts was believed to have been written at around the same time. Paul is generally believed to have been killed pretty much exactly the same year as Revelation: in 68AD.

But the papyrus (the method of how the river plant was dried, glued, flattened, sewn BEFORE IT WAS EVER WRITTEN ON has been factually dated to around 90 A.D. to 100 A.D.

So for you to be correct means John wrote Revelations on parchment that had not yet been created.

Plus, the defining factor in the entire matter is where John wrote Revelations. Of course it was on the Isle of Patmos. And Ancient Roman Archive was very good at keeping record when and where they sent their prisoners. And the Emperor Domitian claims, since he did not take control until 80 A.D., that he placed John in Patmos around 94 A.D.

***1. In 94 AD, the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Domitian, the elderly John the Apostle was exiled to the island of Patmos.***

Therefore, your post is factually incorrect, and so is your understanding of the factual timeline of events.

We have zero originals of the New Testament manuscripts, so I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to prove with the papyrus.

There is zero reference to Jerusalem being razed in Revelation, and in fact measuring the Temple, in Jerusalem, was described as a future event. Plus Domitian in fact recalled Christians FROM exile, in effect undoing what NERO had done. According to your own historical reference, only John remained exiled in Patmos in 94AD, and some other Christians remained in exile in Pontia. Pagan history tells us that Nero famously persecuted Christians--an act which Domitian undid. Though not 100%.

Other readers can research all this for themselves. No need to debate it on here. Just look it up.

Acts 15:16 (KJV)
“After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:”

Amos 9:11 (NKJV)
11 "On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;

There are some Psuedo Christians that want to believe that all of Scripture Prophesies have already been fulfilled, past tense, citing the last Prophecy was fulfilled was the Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. They believe Jesus returned spiritually, and they do not believe in the prophecies of Jesus Return in the Future or HIS Millennial Kingdom. Yes, they are a false Christian Cult, and over the years, I have tried to talk to them, 3 at different times, if I remember right, and they think their THEOLOGY, is absolutely flawless, when IT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT. Yes, they were banned.

There are a number of Prophecies that have NEVER BEEN FULFILLED, but especially THIS one and it is repeated in the New Testament in the book of Acts. Archaeologists in the past two years, think they have discovered the original Tabernacle of David, which is about 95% SURE. This was built before any building was erected above it on the Threshing Floor that most likely was owned by Araunah the Jebusite.

2 Samuel 24:18-25 (HCSB)
18 Gad {Prophet of God} came to David that day and said to him, “Go up and set up an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.”
19 David went up in obedience to Gad’s command, just as the LORD had commanded.
20 Araunah looked down and saw the king and his servants coming toward him, so he went out and bowed to the king with his face to the ground.
21 Araunah said, “Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David replied, “To buy the threshing floor from you in order to build an altar to the LORD, so the plague on the people may be halted.”
22 Araunah said to David, “My lord the king may take whatever he wants and offer it. Here are the oxen for a burnt offering and the threshing sledges and ox yokes for the wood.
23 ⌊My⌋ king, Araunah gives everything here to the king.” Then he said to the king, “May the LORD your God accept you.”
24 The king answered Araunah, “No, I insist on buying it from you for a price, for I will not offer to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost ⌊me⌋ nothing.” David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for 20 ounces of silver.
25 He built an altar to the LORD there and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer on behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel ended.

That PROPHECY of rebuilding The Tabernacle of David, has never been fulfilled, because they just discovered it about 2 years ago.

I know I have shown these pictures before, but it Bares repeating, with updated info:

1588873512183.png
This site was found after removing tons of dirt that was deliberately used to bury the site, after King Hezekiah ordered all worship places destroyed in and around Jerusalem. It was only a few paces north of King David's Palace. So it is extremely Likely this is the Tabernacle of David.

In the picture above, see that smooth raised stone at the far end of the Blood Channel, that was the ALTAR OF SACRIFICE. So David would have to approach it on HIS KNEES in a worship position, (unless he had an undergarment on), with the animal laying there on it's side, with it's neck over the Blood Channel. Now, I understand why Moses was told he could never approach it on his FEET, because Jews in the days of old, apparently never wore undergarments under their Robes:

Exodus 20:1-26 (ESV)
. . .
26 And you shall not go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not exposed on it.’

On that Threshing Floor were found other important artifacts that point to the Tabernacle of DAVID, like an Olive Press, a Tethering Post, and even a Chamber Carved into the stone cliff to house Ark of the Covenant in apparently. Apparently, the Jews used Olive Oil to Consecrate or to Dedicate something to the LORD. HERE IS SOMETHING THAT I JUST FOUND! The Director of Int'l Affairs, Ze've Orenstein, said in the below VIDEO, he thought this Prayer Altar could possibly be the very one that JACOB set up.
IF THAT IS THE CASE, THAT IS THE FINAL PEACE OF THE PUZZLE THAT PROVES THE THIRD TEMPLE BELONGS IN THE CITY OF DAVID.

Genesis 28:16-18 (HCSB)
16 When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”
17 He was afraid and said, What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God.
This is the gate of heaven.

18 Early in the morning Jacob took the stone that was near his head and set it up as a marker.
He poured oil on top of it 🖜

QUOTE:
On the seventh night of Chanukah 2014, an exceptional celebration and candle-lighting service was held in the Holy City of Jerusalem thanks to the production of the first pure olive oil – according to Torah standards – in 2000 years.

The Temple Institute, founded in 1987, is a non-profit educational and religious organization located in the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City. As explained on its website, “the major focus of the Institute is its efforts towards the beginning of the actual rebuilding of the Holy Temple. Towards this end, the Institute has begun to restore and construct the sacred vessels for the service of the Holy Temple.”

Most recently, the Institute produced pure olive oil and the required vessels according to the laws of the Torah.

This was “another historic step towards the resumption of the Divine service in the Holy Temple, with the unveiling and presentation of the first pure olive oil for the Temple Menorah to be produced in purity in 2000 years, and the special vessels to hold them, created in purity – an unprecedented step towards the resumption of Biblical purity in our time and a true Chanukah miracle,” according to the site.

Most people are familiar with the miracle of Chanukah, according to which a small amount of oil sufficient for only one day continued to burn for eight days, as well as the victory of a small group of Jewish fighters over the massive Greek army. . . .

Papyrus 98 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), designated by {\displaystyle {\mathfrak {P}}}
98, is an early copy of the New Testament in Greek. It is a papyrus manuscript of the Book of Revelation. The manuscript palaeographically had been assigned to years "100–125AD(?)".[1]

The surviving text of Revelation includes verses 1:13–2:1 in a fragmentary condition.

It's not that difficult. It mostly takes the want to find it especially if you're already convinced it took place during Nero's reign!

And it still does not remove the fact that it was DOMITIAN who placed John into exile, not Nero, Titus' father, or Titus!

I have HEARD a SECRET Rapture, repeated by YOUR SIDE OF THE ISSUE ONLY. It has never been a SECRET to ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN IT. The PARABLE OF TEN VIRGINS IS ALL ABOUT IT. WHAT PART OF GOD WANTING US TO KEEP READY ALL THE TIMES, from the DAY HE SAID THAT ON, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND.

Matthew 25:13 (NCV)
13 So always be ready, because you don’t know the day or the hour the Son of Man will come.

THAT IS ANYTHING BUT AT SECRET.
I didn't want to do this here. But why should we have to quibble over the word "secret" ?

I meant secret from the world.
All scripture teaches his return is very public, obvious and in glory.

You can't have it both ways. If you shoehorn in a resurrection between Jesus first and second appearance. It's secret.
Maybe you don't like my choice of words but you have to own up to that if you promote a pre-tribulation resurrection.

The rapture is simply the resurrection for living believers. You know the verses.

1 Thess 4
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Rev 1:7
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Mathew 25 which you have quoted me twice is a picture of the time near his return.
Virgins with oil are the ones who are spiritually prepared to endure.
It can be a post trib picture only. Not pre trib. The virgins are aware he is on his way. The groom was delayed in the story,
He arrives late! Not early to take the bride away unannounced.

Therefore be alert! Because you don't know The EXACT day or hour.

But you will know the signs!
You don't need extra oil for your lamp if your faith is not going to be tested by tribulation.
The foolish virgins are those who are surprised they need enough oil to wait and endure.

Mathew 24 -
30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
