Structural racism is present in this country and represents a major problem. It’s no point in denying it.

We have to acknowledge the fact that not everyone in America is given the opportunity to make a decent living.

When parts of society are literally on the outside, bad things are bound to happen.

People from the middle class and upper class are rarely involved in violence and crime, but people from the lower classes are extremely more often involved in behavior like that. We also know that race is significant when it comes to class affiliation.

Susanna, my intention is not to dispute your post, I agree racism is an issue in our country, but I feel we have come a long way regarding racism. Yes we have a long way to go yet watching the riots it seems to me the topic of racism ends up taking one step forward (how far we have come) but two steps back with all that is happening.

:) I have said that people have marched and have held rallies and there are people who are working on solutions about the violence in Chicago. I know because I was at one of them. People just want to point their finger. One minute it's "the news is dividing" until they show something that someone can weaponize. Not offer a solution, for help or for understanding, but weaponize and help tear down or discredit. It's not that they need facts or a spreadsheet because even with video evidence they twist the narrative to fit the evil and hatred in their heart.

A few have come in this thread and broke it down on a childrens sunday school level and BOOM here comes the #whataboutisms. Thing is it's okay. I've been watching things over the last few days of different areas of the world and more people of different ethnicities understand and are walking with black people than I knew. So the few in here with their negative narratives with nothing nice or positive to say... meh.

The bible says, "for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."

We all will have to stand before the Almighty and give an account of our words and deeds. On that day best believe it won't matter what hue you are and he won't care about the #whatabout what so and so did or what about what happened over there.
Here’s the Solution.

Everyone needs to STOP judging people by the color of their skin!

Yeah well we can't allow BLM to take over the country either with their "defund the police" agenda either. The idea that every white person in the country is guilty of racism, needs to take a knee and cry black lives matter is bunk. I'm not going to be a part of it. If black lives matter then all black lives matter. That would include black on black crime, which kills far more black people than white cops do. That would also include the genocide that is happening with black babies being aborted. I'm not American, but I don't see why no one sees it, or they do and are afraid to say it and be accused of being racist. All black lives matter, or don't they?
another red herring. Black on black crime is completely irrelevant when were talking about holding corrupt police officers accountable
And did you see the tweet where President Trump is condoning shoving a 75 year old man down on the pavement?

Come on man. It ain't never the Democrats fault when bad things happen.
Don't you watch the news?
Democrats have run ALL of these cities, most of which for over half a century.
Democrats control the mayorships, the city councils, the police departments, and the school boards and many other gov departments.

President Trump came in, and was the first President to make real tangible changes to better black Americans lives.

He, not Obama, Bush, or Clinton, instituted meaningful prison reform. President Trump personally interviewed in commuting prison sentences of several black inmates. It was in fact Joe Biden that voted for the harsh laws to begin with!

Before the Covid19 garbage, his policies led to the lowest black unemployment rate in recorded American history.

It is Republicans that have pushed for school choice so that black Americans can escape from failing schools run by Democrats. Democrats fight them tooth and nail to keep oppressed people trapped in inner cities.

And yet election after election a gigantic Proportion of black Americans keep voting Democrat!

I know the insanely wicked media lie incessantly to help the Democrats, but at some point you have to take the step and see the truth, and vote differently.

the 75 year old man could have been an actor, the event could have been staged, that is what trump is implying.

you do know that some of the leaders of antifa came out of the weather underground movement from the 70's , right? that would make them senior citizens.

you do know some things are staged , right??

He was most likely not an actor. The footage is showing that he’s pushed, trying to stay on his feet, but eventually drops to the ground.

Yeah, I occasionally watch the lame-stream news media AKA "fake news".
It's only "fake news" when the person about whom the news is reported negatively. Otherwise, it's "great news". Two-faced egocentric nonsense.

And he could have been a peaceful protester. He was a 75-year-old man just standing there and a policeman shoved him backwards onto the ground. When another officer checked to see if he was okay he was pulled away by another officer. That is corrupt policing!

I did. It said...

Donald Trump Spread A Conspiracy Theory About Injured Buffalo Protester Martin Gugino

Martin Gugino, the 75-year-old Buffalo man shoved by two 30-something police officers, is a member of PUSH Buffalo, which focuses on affordable housing, and Western New York Peace Center, a human rights org. He is also part of the Catholic Worker Movement.

Does that justify pushing him so hard he cracks his skull when he falls?

The news should be reported accurately without bias. It is very much fake news and it has been that way long before Trump took office.

It's not irrelevant when you're saying "black lives matter". No one in the country has said what the cop did was right, or that he shouldn't be held accountable, or that bad cops shouldn't be held accountable. If black lives matter then all black lives matter.

As to what Trump tweeted I have no clue. Don't know any facts about it. Just reading now he said the man might be part of Antifa. I don't see where he would get that idea. All of the officers resigned in support of the two officers that pushed the man. Seems odd that they would do so. Guessing there will be a lawsuit and facts will come out.

You say, "It is very much fake news". Can you show verifiable proof that this is so? Otherwise it's just one more biased opinion to support Trump.
