Yes,i repented of my sins...Jesus drew me to him and my spirit surrendered to his.....he testified to my spirit that I was his child.....do you agree with that?....do you believe he cleansed me from all sin?
I do. The fruit of your heart beats testimony to your words.

Stone, you might surprised at how practical Jesus was when he asked for obedience. Simple commands whose obeying or not is clearly measured. Wash, drop
your nets here, go there, take nothing, show yourself to
the priest. Not very spiritual. And yet powerful if followed.
Im asking you a specific question about what Jesus said. What kingdom was He talking about when He spoke those words? It’s the key to understanding. So....

You said not all who think they are His, aren’t. Maybe the proverbial shoe fits your foot Dottie.

You are secure by what you do daily. That’s your answer.

So you know you will enter this kingdom because you are assured you are His by what you do. Is this right?

Again....which kingdom?

Hi DorothyMae,.....

I haven’t read or maybe I have misunderstood...but I cant find anywhere in scripture that specifically says,

Once Saved Always Saved....where are those words in the Bible?

For me I am born again....that is scriptural...it is a hard one to understand...but as you say no where in scripture are those words Once Saved Always Saved....so you are right about those words.

God’s Love came into my Spirit he loved me...I fell in Love with him...hard to explain.
I will answer if you ask me a question.x

God lives in me never to leave or forsake...
I believe the Greek word G278 (don’t ask me to spell it, lol) might be where it’s seen.

But, simply....Spirit is eternal. Will never die. Once we are lifed from above...it’s an eternal life, and the life we live is actually out of the heavenlies.

Theres so much to what we have been given. I can understand why the world cannot hold the books. Thinking about that scripture that states all the things Jesus did and said......

When I was saved God testified to my spirit that I was born again.....nothing more to say really....

DorothyMae with the greatest of respect...I don’t agree with what I have seen so far...it is all self and work related.
Nothing glorifying our Father in Heaven.....salvation was a free gift from God to me....

Jesus paid the price for my sin.....he died so that I may live!
Receiving gifts is not as honoring as trusting Him ENOUGH to do as He asks. The teenager who gladly receives present is not as honoring as the teenager who obeys his/her parents. That is much more honoring. Everyone is glad is to receive gifts. I think I honor Him more.

I’m not offended. Jackrosie, I’d encourage anyone to obey Him. Forgive enemies. Honor parents. Be just and yet merciful. Honor God with the choices you make.

Is that really so bad? Does it sound like I’m trying to earn salvation or love God and not just his gift?

No one described anyone as a “born again believer” which is what I said and you cannot deny. It begs the question what other kinds of believers are there.
There is only one true believer. It does not matter what other kinds their are

Ah,but do you believe the fruit of my heart has always been this way?
How would I know?
No,no,no......God works in a believers heart....it’s his fruit not mine....all Glory goes to him.
Well, my dear, He’s not so small minded as to be jealous when His children do well. What parent hates it when their kids make good choices and insist it’s all them.

Jackrosie, our part is small but real. Jesus will as to some “well done” and he won’t be looking into the mirror. He praised one man’s faith. He didn’t insist God had done it.

The kingdom began with the command of Jesus....you must be born again. Then He commands you must be born of water and of Spirit to even see and enter.

so all believers enter only this way. To see it....to enter.

Would this then be the foundation that one builds on?

anyone?

There are two kingdoms taught in scripture. I’m not sure if this has come up here. I know I’ve mentioned it many times. The kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven.

one is within. The other above.

It makes a big difference which is being referred to in the scripture.

There is a serious disconnect. I never said what you accuse me of saying but I can tell you for sure that the practical choice to forgive others is more important to God than calling so many things spiritual. One act of choosing to forgive will teach a believer more than all the “spiritual” analysis of the Bible.

im not accusing you of anything. I’m hoping you will look at the scripture closer that YOU posted. You made a statement about it and gave what you say is how one will know if they are the one who says Lord Lord yet never enters the kingdom.

The answer to my question is the kingdom of heaven. Which you never gave.

So you are taking this verse out of context which is something I know you do. And you are giving it a negative twist towards those who are born from above as possibly, they won’t make heaven.

that’s what you are doing continuously Dottie, which is almost like siding with the serpent in the question....hath God said?

I am concerned for you. You may not be aware of what you are doing.
