huh ok never heard of it as a religion
Not in the bible, where did it come from? wasnt it the 1777 French Revolution that gave the ideas of liberty, egality, fraternity into america? Isnt there a statue of liberty in america?
what about humanism, capitalism, communism and darwinism.
or all the other isms.

Regarding the concept that some consider liberalism to be their Religion........any concept, belief someone places FIRST in their lives and strives to live said concept/belief is surely their "religion." IMO
the word "liberal' in and of itself is not a horrible word/idea. How people apply it can be.
One who is "liberal" with their love, mercy and such are ok with me.......
Those who are "liberal" with the possessions of others............yeah, not so much. That's the problem with "Liberals" these days.....they LOVE spending other peoples monies........

As far as Liberalism being a religion, possibly so.
Here's a question. Without looking it up in a Dictionary or on a search engine, what is the definition of Liberalism?
Next, there are differences between being a Liberal and being a Democrat. There are also distinct difference in being Liberal to that of Leftism.
