None of that is what I asked. You said no true believer refuses to confess. There are believers who think all future sins are already forgiven and so confession makes no sense. They DONT confess sins the HS shows them. Would you say they are therefore not “true believers?” That was my question. How far in real life do you actually live what you say you believe?

Who on here have said they never confess their sins....?

I swear you make this up as you go along..

JR keeps saying over and over....born again....born from above. Our life is now lived out of heavenly places where we are situated now. These are things we must learn and experience.

This life we live in Him is not just reading and studying. It’s life lived in experiencing our salvation. God intervening, answering our prayers and life lived in the Spirit. Connected again to the spiritual realm.

Exciting life. And fulfilling.

I went through a time of darkness. I was angry when I lost my husband to another woman. I went through the dark night of the soul and had to learn to forgive. Very hard time and it took years. So I think that’s similar to what you are asking biker. He is faithful. I could write a book of all the miracles He did for me through this time.

Many have experienced this. He says He will not forsake us. And EG said a gem from heaven when he asked was God where you were when you left. Even in witchcraft, because David said if he made his bed in hell, God was still there.

Yes, seriously.

No need for the insults, OK?

You're not aware there is a teaching that says one can live however they want, and still go to heaven?

Haha....insults...you have got to be joking!....I see your tolerance level is very low...taking that personally..lol....what a joke..

I don’t care what people believe....I don’t believe you can live your life as you choose after becoming born again...you are in Christ!

My Salvation is secure, but where would I have gone after accepting God and then worshipping the Davil if had died while worshipping the Devil?
Romans 6:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

If you had died in witchcraft? I don’t know where you would be.
So while i was being a Witch and Pagan and worshipping idols and gods, I would still go to heaven if I had died in that state of existence?
I understand what you are saying biker. My response is that you would not of died in that condition because God is faithful to His Word.

And how did they translate when they admit to never reading a Bible to begin with and they were writing down what King James was saying?
Out of all the accusations against the KJV that I have heard, this one is the most foolish and craziest one I’ve heard to date.

Hey, if you believe that nonsense, fine.

You have a free will to do what you want.

Yes, you insulted, you called me a fool, using the word daft to cover it, and yep, took that personally. So has God. :)

Do you talk that way in public, or just online?

I see those you follow, being their disciples, have trained you well in how to insult others online. You fit right in with them now. Congrats!

My point Dear Dottie, is that in the post that EG presented, the scenario is of one drowning and needing rescuing. He was making a point, not an essay on drowning experiences.

And it happened to me too. My friend grabbed my hair and pulled me up to the deck after I had fallen in unable at the time to swim.

Not a pleasant experience at all.
And others held onto a ring. Holding on is still rescued from drowning.

You said if one has to hold on it is not almost drowning. Stone that is plain WRONG.You want it to be so to support OSAS but you cannot therefore change the reality of what being rescued from drowning is for the sake of your theology.

How does connect to my question....boy you sure like to accuse of things I never once denied.

All you do is reveal yourself to be deceitful in a discussion. That is on you.
You asked where scripture discusses repentance /contritionfor sin like unless it says so, you see no reson for being so.

So do you repent of wrongs you’ve done to others?

You know JR, sometimes I think we can be tempted to worship knowledge, and I then remember that was the tree that caused us the fall.

Lord God, our Father, I ask You deliver us from the want to know information about You, to actually knowing You. In the name of Your Son Jesus.

And please don’t take that prayer as if I think myself not needing it too.

You missed my point.

Even though we have GRACE, our sins still are being paid through us in terms of things that happen in our lives. So, even though a sin might not erase our Salvation, a sin can ruin your life in human terms.
It does say in the bible that we reap what we sow. Fortunately, God is full of mercy and compassion and will often mitigate or eliminate the consequences as part of the disciplinary process. Of course, Jesus paid the ultimate penalty for the sins that we commit.

God chose me based on his will

that whoever believes and sees him will have eternal life

god chose to save whoever obeyed the gospel.

its not rocket science,

if we must believe the gospel to be saved, and we are chosen to be saved, it makes sense that we are chosen based on what we do with the gospel,
Did you choose to obey the gospel?
