yes. a cross is one thing but Jesus is no longer on it

we see some doing what is called penance or they physically torture themselves all to no avail anymore than praying to dead people is beneficial

Jesus said to remember Him at the Passover with His disciples, but He did not mean on the cross but in the bread and wine that He said represented Him

Thank you, I was caught up in the bad behavior.... however certain people make false statements and that is not right.

Good grief I know I was a gone for a bit but what on earth happened to this thread? It started out about fruits then somehow it became a huge mess.

Because the OP speaks again and again and again about Fruit of the Spirit while consistently demonstrating bad fruit, and she’s being called out on it.

From the pages I had to go back and look at to try to catch up I would say it is more than one person everyone was acting like a bunch of children.

Also I don't mean literally everyone but you know just in general how people were acting responding and reacting to each other. Honestly if we cannot debate as Christians in a mature christ like manner we shouldn't be debating this isn't preschool

Passion for defending Truth does not equate to “immaturity” on behalf of Truth Defenders, but point well taken otherwise.

Fruits are simply behaviours that originate from the character of that person. Simply put, there are just two choices each day that we must make: To do what is right, or to do what is wrong. The ideal is to obtain the fruit of the Spirit through obedience. The choices we make are ours, the fruit is from God, and is the character of his Spirit. These fruits are "earned" and not freely given just because we are saved. Jesus said a wise man builds his house on solid rock (a hearer and doer of the word) and the person who does not discipline him or herself, is a house that falls and in this case, bares bad fruits.

The issue is when people seem to confuse defending the truth with just plain childish arguing mocking ect. It is how we respond that makes the difference.
But thank you for understanding my point.

Now we are getting back on track:D I rather like how garden analogies are likened to things of God there are so many ways God uses nature to teach us.
