Matthew 24:27-31; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-28:
[explains about second coming of Jesus]

Matthew 24:34; Mark 13:30; Luke 21:32:
"Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place."

Does it mean that, the second coming (as explained in Matt 24:27-31) was expected during the same generation when Jesus lived?

The entire chapter of Matthew 24 is dedicated to the (Second Coming) of Jesus Christ, Immediately After The Tribulation.

No the events of Matthew 24 didn't take place in the 1st century Roman Destruction of Jerusalem as (Preterism) falsely teaches.

So, do you NOT have any thoughts about this? Yeah, if you would give us your thoughts, that would be just swell.

Sometimes Jesus is speaking of all the descendants of Adam when He says "this generation". This is one of those times.

Exactly 100% Correct, "This Generation" is speaking to the "Future" generation that will be actual eyewitnesses to the events.

Preterism falsely teaches Matthew Chapter 24 was fulfilled in 70AD destruction of Jerusalem, a big (Lie)

As the verses below clearly shows the future second coming of Jesus Christ, that will take place after the future great tribulation upon earth.

Jesus Christ Didn't Return In 70AD

Matthew 24:29-31KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Where in the text of the three passages that you noted does it say, "the second coming of Jesus"?

Or is that your assumption (or what you've been told)?

I'd suggest you set aside all you've ever learned about "the second coming of Jesus" and read the text for what it says. Once you understand the text, then consider whether it's talking about "the second coming..." as you understand the term. :)

Was the temple destroyed in 70 AD? Yes. Was every stone thrown down? Yes, exactly as Jesus prophesied.

You have more homework to do.

I believe a more direct understanding is that this generation is simply the generation comprised of flesh, that is to say, from Adam through the last incarnation of this age, mankind.

Jesus Christ was speaking on "The Temple" of his body, it appears you need to do your homework

Jesus Christ did destroy the temple, in his death, burial, and resurrection the veil to the holy if holies was rent, and the physical temple in Jerusalem was (Removed)

John 2:19-22KJV
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Bahahaha! Wow, you really need to read more carefully. John 2 is not Matthew 24. The disciples made reference to the grandeur of the building, not to Jesus' physical body, and Jesus responded regarding the stones of the building, not to His physical body.

smh...

Your comments are not Scripture.
You remove my presented scripture in your response, why?

Because it Clearly Presents The Truth :)

This may have happened.
Acts 7:54
54 Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. 55 But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 56 And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

No it does not. The Greek word genea which has been literally translated as "generation" can also me a nation or a race. It is a reference to the nation of Israel, which was revived in 1948 and is still there in spite of all the hatred from Arabs and Muslims. It also applies indirectly to all Jews worldwide, who will be gathered to Israel after the Second Coming of Christ.

Under the ot prophetic timetable, the day of the lord, or the tribulation was suppose to have begun after Christ was crucified.

The 7 years after the cross was supposed to be Daniel 70th week

Before Stephen died, when he saw Jesus standing up in heaven, the expectation was that Jacob trouble would have begun since the nation has firmly rejected him

But of course we knew that Paul was saved to begin the grace dispensation

But even Paul did not expect this interruption to be as Long as this.

He expected the rapture to take place before he die but we now know it has been for 2000 years

Maybe this didn't happen :)

Literal sun and moon darkened, heavens shaken, tribes of the earth mourning, the resurrection of the elect in the angels Trump?

That was a whole lot to squeeze into Steven being martyred?

Study the Apostolic and Early Church Father's, they all saw a future second coming of Jesus Christ, just as scripture teaches.

(Preterism) in 1st century fulfillment is just another false teaching of man.

Matthew 24:29-31KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

People get kind of mixed up thinking that the term 'this generation' means a person's lifespan until the next offspring (like one biological reproductive cycle time period). Rather, I think the term more likely means 'this type of person', 'this group of persons', 'this kind of person'. Jesus spoke of this 'wicked and adulturous generation'. In saying that this generation will not pass away until all these things happen, he is apparently indicating that the type of 'religious' person who does not receive Christ (a wicked and adulturous group - adulturous meaning following after other gods so to speak), as demonstrated by most of the Pharisees, and by many religious groups and persons today, will still be around right up until the end (so to speak).

No it meant the generation that would see all the signs Jesus detailed would see the return of Jesus..
