From Romans 8:9

So many who frequent the BDF claim to know Christ but don't even know what His spirit is, or how to know whether someone has (or has not) the Spirit of Christ.
As a side result, because they don't know how to tell what it is, or if the Spirit of Christ is in someone else, they actually don't know if it(He) is in themselves.

I'll let the readers debate this topic but please understand that your salvation kind of depends on getting the answer right.

Yes truth sets free. The Spirit of Christ is the teacher comforter, and guide .He brings things to our memory that he has taught us . Warning us of those who say we need a man seen to teach us.

Though I somewhat agree, have you ever taken a poll here, or how did you come to this conclusion??

Romans 8:16,17 also tells genuine Christians that the Holy Spirit bears witness with their spirits that they are children of God. And much more.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

So where is the problem? We do not need to create problems where none exist.

It is not difficult to fantasize about spiritual matters. We see that in eschatology all the time.

Yes, Our savior (Jesus) as the Son of man is man. He did the will of his unseen Father, the Good Master as Lord. Together the peace of God . . . they finished the promised demonstration.

Is this another attempt to relate the Pentecostal signs of tongues to salvation? While Pentecostals refuse to openly declare that their knowledge of actual possession of salvation rests on their belief that they speak or pray in tongues they imply that to be a supposed truth.

No; Jesus IS Lord, as Scripture states simply, clearly, succinctly, and directly. Your version is bafflegab.

Hello Kelby, what are your thoughts on the subject? What do you believe indicates someone has the Spirit of Christ in them?

Yes Jesus as the Son of God is Lord and as the Son of man Jesus . . .he is flesh and blood man . God is not a man .The Son of man Jesus the apostle prophet did the will of the father .Not the will of his own powerless corrupted flesh and blood. Which he clearly stated. . it profits for zero, nothing, nada .

The clue is in what someone is trusting in . For some its ' initial evidence ' , others ' water baptism , ' It might be trusting in their works . I see a lot of people on here are trusting their fruit and deeds of faith as evidence. Some are trusting their ' obedience, commitment, and service . Others are trusting their ' election ' and looking to their ' perseverence ' . who and what have you trusted to save you, is the critical question?

You continue to promote your Gnosticism and sincerely believe that you are correct. But with all due respect, the above post is TOTAL NONSENSE. Garee are you ever going to learn the truth since you call everything a parable?

Bafflegab. That's a long-winded way of disagreeing with Scripture.

I am not the one calling the Son of man the Lord . Jesus the apostle calls the unseen Father . Jesus crying out in his weakens . My Lord and God. The father hears and gives him strength .

God is not a man And the Son of man still denies being the one Good master. God, not gods legion

Jesu said; Not as I will but as you the father will. . . the one that has the power to raise men from the dead. Jesus had no power in his earthen body of death.

Lazarus rise. Son of man Jesus .rise. The bride of Christ rise, and receive you new incorruptible body

I am calling Jesus, the Son of man, "Lord" because Scripture says, "Jesus is Lord." Scripture adds no caveats and no explanations.

The Spirit of Christ is one who receives the light of Jesus flooding within upon repentance and turning to God for salvation from sin. It’s the new birth or what we call born again. Re generated...a new genesis.

We must be born again.

Different from the baptism of Holy Spirit. Or the Spirit of Father to do His works through His giftings.

One is living in Him, The other is walking as Him. Simply put.

God is not a man. Three things made God who he is. God is Light. God is Spirt. God is Love.

Again Jesus as the Son of God having no beginning is the unseen Lord or power that worked in the Son of man .

Born of mankind the temporal things seen .

Born of the lord. Things of God not seen, the eternal.

Those two must be rightly divided or Satan gets his foot hold in the door. Things of men the literal interpretation or things of God the spiritual understanding hid in parables .Without parables Christ spoke not.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Which teaching master? The things seen or the unseen things of faith?
