I love the west and east coast.
I still like Toronto... did not grow up there however, but I agree has changed over the years for sure.
Old Toronto in the 50's-70's was very much alive, loving, vibrate and heavily into Christianity. Now....well its heavily into liberialism and do as you please. Alberta is by far my favourite province, especially the mountains! :) They make me VERY HAPPY! :)

Well there you have one of the variables to survival rate...exactly!

Yep as I watch my family members struggle trough this all I can think is "if I was rich like Trump...". In the real world two of my family members internal organs will never completely recover from the "little flu" they caught in Houston. It's shameful for a rich man to film himself getting treatment that others cannot obtain and bragging about it in public and mind boggling to witness those defend him and think they would get the same treatment as him.

Yes Alberta is beautiful. I have traveled all across the country and every province has something to offer in terms of beauty. :)

Ah very nice! Me too (minus NFL). I don't think I will be going. Our Country could probably support the entire world...if we could bare the cold winters LOL! But I won't be in Canada much longer so someone can take my warm house

here is something that will be an interesting test-

my town had a college football game ( american ) this past sat, there were 20,000- 25,000 fans at the game , with probably about 3000-5000 more folks that came to town.

some of those people drove in from all over the state ( georgia).

so, will there be a big uptick or not much??? this is a good test case, right in my area.

sorry about your family members, please keep in mind that they are different strains of the virus.

i have a friend who got very sick, spent a few days in the hospital, got better quickly, and went to the beach as soon as their 2 weeks was up.

another person i know did not get hospital sick, but took about 6 weeks to finally improve.

different people, different results.

Are they wearing masks, social distancing etc., that has an effect as well.

The virus is airborne... however viral load varies ... another variable often overlooked.

masks no. social distancing, not much. ( just look up " sanford stadium , uga -auburn game images")

well, yes and no.

to get a accurate , exact count yes.

but, the state of Ga. is getting between 800-1100 cases a day, has been in that range for a while.'

so, if 25,000 people were in close proximity for a several hours (they were) , if the virus spreads well outside, that number will go up.

so, we will see. i will get back to you as far as an uptick or not.

we disagree on the virus, but i will not let that stand in the way of being honest.

Of the two strains https://www.newscientist.com/articl...are-there-two-strains-and-is-one-more-deadly/ and one is more deadly(?), I think the verdict is still out. The L was the original strain(Wuhan 2019) from my understanding while the S was mutated afterwards(early 2020) https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/08/200803105246.htm ...

The six known mutations(6+ now) I think are mutations causing it to be "more infectious" and so would seemingly then have an higher rate of death. Bare in mind though that I am not an Doctor,Scientist, biologist ect. and so I am dependent on the things we can find written on the www about this. In the Houston area https://www.houstonchronicle.com/ne...-strain-mutated-houston-covid-19-15260515.php the strain was more infectious but not more lethal than the other strains.

This is the perfect excuse for Biden to back out of the last two debates.

Dr. Qanta Ahmed: Trump COVID-19 hospitalization doesn’t mean he’s seriously ill — I expect his full recovery (Videos also)
The odds are extremely favorable for Trump’s full and complete recovery for three reasons
The decision to hospitalize President Trump on Friday night for several days after he tested positive for COVID-19 appears to be a wise one, taken out of an abundance of caution. It shouldn’t lead anyone to conclude he is seriously ill at this time.

As a pulmonologist and intensive care physician who has treated COVID-19 patients at NYU Langone Health, where I practice, I know full well that the disease caused by the coronavirus can be quite serious — and fatal in some cases. But importantly, I also know that the vast majority of COVID-19 patients recover from the disease.
The statistics tell the story. The confirmed death toll in the U.S. from COVID-19 is 208,520 at this writing — certainly a tragic toll. But there have been more than 7.3 million confirmed cases of the disease in this country. The overwhelming majority of patients infected with the coronavirus have fully recovered. They wont disclose any of his medical information because of laws but he defiantly caught the type where if you are rich and powerful you can get preferential treatment and drugs https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/02/wha...dy-drug-trump-took-to-combat-coronavirus.html that the average person cannot get.
i happen to have seen my pulmonologist earlier this week.
the drugs the POTUS received -- all of them that were disclosed anyway -- are all the same things he has been treating covid patients with since the beginning of the year; the same thing he would give me if i contract it.
maybe i also happen to have a very good lung doctor - i thank God! :giggle:

You have to be kidding me? Has anyone heard the latest message from Trump?
“Regeneron”???”
First hydroxychloroquine and now advertising something named Regeneron...
Ok ... I think we should just take precautions and not trust these advices as they are merely functioning to spike numbers on the stock market imho.

I would point out to your pulmonary specialist that REGN-COV2 first began in September of 2020 and so it's only been around a few months(not the beginning of the year)...and maybe look for another pulmonary specialist... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REGN-COV2

Why in the world would you think those against him would pray for his death? If they are a TRUE Christian they would never pray for the harm of someone else? I pray for his true salvation as if he accepted Jesus with all his heart we would all see a much kinder, empathetic, humble man wanting to reflect God's image. I may not care for him and his leadership or the lack thereof, but I certainly don't wish him harm. Maybe he will take it more seriously and understand what other families have gone through and why wearing a mask is helpful.
That keypad you punch at the store and pumps and then adjust your nothing burger mask, puts covid right down your nose.

I can kill covid just as trump did.

That is the solution.

The mask deal is a joke.
Puppets following a hoax.
