I believe what I do because God revealed Himself to me,
multiple times, in a variety of ways, over a period of many
years, while I was running from Him in rebellion and defiance.

It was only after that I was able to surrender and accept Biblical wisdom.

Now I can understand what your saying but for the skeptic or unbelievers how do you address this question?
Why jesus out of all the other religions why him?

There is One True God and His plan for humanity involved Jesus from before the foundation of the world. Now some people do not care whether or not God exists. Their mind is made up that such a question is immaterial or unnecessary, and they see religion as a main bane of man's existence, yet for many, the answer to whether or not God exists is fundamental to an innate sense of purpose and direction. Otherwise, what is the purpose of existence if all is some random, meaningless cosmic event? In knowing God, Who willingly reveals Himself to those who sincerely and diligently seek Him, we find our ultimate purpose, and our raison d'être. Jesus is the only way to the Father.

Creation reveals the eternal power and Godhead of God (Rom 1:20). That is God revealing Himself so that people would, in turn, seek Him.

Some reject what is seen in creation and deny the Creator.

Those who do not reject do not deny the Creator and a longing to know the Creator develops. The only way to satisfy that longing is through the Lord Jesus Christ ... all other attempts to know the Creator are futile.

Acts 4:

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Why God? Jesus?

The Bible is full of reasons. From beginning to end. To put all of that in a nutshell is impossible.

I will say this: I serve a LIVING GOD! Not an idol made of stone or some such. Not a man long dead and turned into dust. Not an animal that has no soul, nor longevity of life, or intellectual ability to communicate with and instruct men. Scripture speaks of those who worship the "created" rather than the Creator, and their end will not be good.

Even all the world knows that The Living God is the REAL God! You know how I know? What other name than God do they use as a "curse?" You will never hear Buddadamn, Mohameddamn, Monkeydamn, or any such. Why? Because the world knows these are false gods and NOT THE Living God.

These all are good saints and I understand fully.
Now place yourself as a skeptic or a person who has never read the Bible.
Explain your belief to a secular audience. No bible knowledge. They ask you of all the other beliefs out there why jesus.

Ask them to open their hearts to the possibility that you may be right and then ask them to pray, not with you but in private when no one is around, point out to them that jesus told us to pray like this. Ask them what do they have to lose by doing so? [even if they laugh it off trust that you have planted the seed and pray for them]

We as humans live by our emotions.
We feel by our minds and hearts.
I have felt great admiration for many who have marked our history with great deeds and have had many followers who believed them unto death.
For me personally Jesus, when he came as a man felt all the things we do,but he offers us life eternal beyond this mortal flesh.
Other leaders have offered their followers to see God,but in Jesus,Gods son sent to man by himself,God wanted us to see that he loves his creation and will offer up the most precious thing he has, his son.

Ok let's try this .....give a secular reason to a secular world. Think of what it was that got you interested in the bible or God?

I don't think we can not do we have to. The Holy Spirit does that and he is the only one who can. I have tried to no avail, and even though the person agreed that my reasoning was very good they walked away unbelieving, and unconvinced. It was very frustrating because it left me with the same question. But the only answer is as Purple said, it takes God to reveal himself to a person.
We can only present the Gospel and the case for Christ. We convince no one.

The secular world would rather listen to those who do not know God, expound upon God. Which rather outright nullifies their claim to being more rational and logical than believers, whom they dismiss as being brainwashed, in need of meds, and believing in fairy tales. Still, we are called to serve by sharing the gospel message, which is one of hope, love, and forgiveness offered through the sacrifice of Jesus for the remission of sins, that by grace through faith, we may attain to life ever after. Do you realize that some non-believers claim they would rather go to hell than serve God as they understand Him?

I honestly believe that the endless question of why is put there so that we don’t stay complacent and keep reaching for more no matter how old we are.

We all know people who study their particular field of study, get their masters degree, then pump the brakes as if they know all they need to......A wiser person would acknowledge their current position but, recognize that things always change. It takes constant brush up courses and studying to keep their skills sharp.

I like the quote that goes like this:
I know that I am smart because I know that I know nothing. 😊

Exactly ... God tells us we we plant / water only ... and God brings the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

If I plant or water the gospel and the person to whom I am speaking does not believe, that does not mean the person will not believe the next time a believer plants/waters the gospel ... or the time after that ... or the time after that.

God never gave up on me and I should never give up on others.

Good question.
What I think presupposes the question is, being we know Jesus was/is God, why didn't God forgive the first act of disobedience by human kind? Adam and Eve in the garden?
