We all have people in our lives that are not having a happy day of any sort. They are lonely and shut in, or have to work, perhaps sick and grieving. Many are having a rough go of it.

My first inclination is to try and cheer people up, or bring up the silver lining. I am reminded though, that when I am in a heavy and hard season, It does not always serve me to hear those things. Folks need care not pep talks.

Yes, I want to know you are feeling blessed, that you and yours are ok, even thriving, but if you are not, know that I still want to know. I am sorry that you are hurting or that all is not how you'd prefer it to be. Thank you to those who are working, and also to those barely hanging on, for you are doing what's necessary to keep on keeping on.

Holding you in my prayers and thoughts if your happy and you know it, or if not so much.

Staying in prayer and basking in His warm loving fellowship this Thanksgiving, in Jesus name. Blessings to all in Jesus name.

There's a proverb for that:

Proverbs 25:20: As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.

The International Children's Bible puts it this way:

Don’t sing songs to someone who is sad. It’s like taking off a coat on a cold day or pouring vinegar on soda.

What is happiness? Not trolling or anything like it, legit asking a question about what is happiness really, importance of happiness and why, and what they think happiness depends upon. I think it's all good to consider let's put things into perspective.

a true Christian's job is to always Love-uphold succor and encourage, whether in times
joy or trouble - how they receive Christ's Love in/from us, is on them...

Nobody really knows. But we have a constitutional right to pursue the stuffing out of it.
