From now on I want y'all to call me Sir Knight Scribe of the Noble Order.
I have always wanted to be a knight ever since I read The Once and Future King as a kid.
It is time for me to finally be the person I was meant to me.
I will purchase some armor and a steed.

Fair enough. I am most definitely trying to discourage the rampant gender bending.

The ones that aren't helpful are our resident filter feeders like the oyster a few posts above who play along and encourage the lunacy. I don't think this starlitmess person is stupid. I think she just lives in a world where up is down and down is up and they has bought into some foolishness for a little bit. I think she'll get through it if she doesn't listen to the likes of the oyster.
It’s sick out there and getting sicker. This is the type of satanic sickness this young lady and her generation is up against.

The satanic gay filter feeder loves each and every one you. God wants to make noble knights out each and every one of us. God bless each and every one.:):coffee:

I want to honour God but I really am annoyed by “she/her”, and “she/they”(in my opinion) keeps my female identity.
Here's what happens when people start canceling their natural and normal gender and demand that others go along with this foolishness:
Father Arrested, Jailed For Contempt After Referring To His Daughter As ‘She’
On Tuesday, the father of a biological girl who believes she is a boy turned himself into a Canadian court and was subsequently taken to jail after the Attorney General of British Columbia issued an arrest warrant for contempt after the father had insisted on referring to his daughter as his “daughter” and used the pronouns “she” and “her.”

This father had every right to refer to his daughter as "she" and "her". The Attorney General should have been the one in jail for promoting nonsense and lies, and jailing an innocent man.

Why can't we simply dismiss this asinine subject matter though?
I can't see how it warrants any attention at all.

Looks like I hit a nerve. But it is the Social Justice Warriors and Cancel Culture Clowns who are on many witch hunts right now.

Whatever is right, righteous, decent, and lawful must be torn down and replaced with anarchy in all aspects of society. This is all a prelude to the Communist takeover and takedown of North America.

Hello! My apologies if this is the wrong forum, please point me to the right one if it’s not.
Okay, I‘ve read a lot on here and the Internet in general about using other’s gender pronouns. For example, if a friend asks you to refer to them as “she/her” rather then “he/him” I understand the multiple options on this, so I’m not really asking about that, but maybe the two are intertwined, I don’t know.

My question is, what about a Christian choosing their own pronouns?
I’ve never felt comfortable being refered to as “she/her”(no, I’m not changing my gender because I do believe God knew what my gender was when He made me) and I‘ve been thinking of changing to “she/they” for a long time. I want to honour God but I really am annoyed by “she/her”, and “she/they”(in my opinion) keeps my female identity. Advice?
tell me if i'm understanding you correctly, because i suspect a number of replies have been misunderstanding you.. though i've only scanned a little bit of the thread.

you're not talking about some physical gender change and this isn't about sexual deviancy at all.
you're talking about recognizing that "in Christ there is no longer male/female"
is that right?

because i'm thinking, the believers are called 'the Bride of Christ' -- in truth, He is our Husband.
so it actually makes more sense in that respect that me, a male, be spoken of with feminine pronouns with respect to being a part of the church, then it does for you, a female, to be referred to with male pronouns. the church is spiritually a 'woman' -- nations and religious/ecclesiastical entities in scripture are pretty much always spiritually symbolized by women. for example, Israel the wife of YHVH. the church the betrothed bride of Christ. the whore of Babylon the false idolatry of the world. Hagar the Sinai covenant of law, Sarai the new covenant in the blood & body of Jesus of grace & peace.

i think the real answer is that perhaps we ought to be spoken of ((in terms of being Christians)) with gender-neutral pronouns, like "it/that" -- which doesn't really come across well in English. there are probably other languages on earth where there are genderless pronouns & grammar that don't typically carry a connotation of inanimate objects, but alas, in English, generally when a person says "it" they are either not talking about a human being, or they are dehumanizing the person by saying that.

so if i were you i'd stick with "she/her" and realize that it's appropriate not only in the flesh but also as speaking of you being in Christ :)

I’m confused.

This father is a real person, who has suffered real consequences for the absolute most absurd reason possible.

Why shouldn’t there be outrage and a “lathering up” over this?!

We’re getting close to the death part:

Matthew 10:21
New King James Version

21 “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

Because this is not our God appointed purpose.
This is a fair answer.

However we are in a unique position. Yes the world is still the world, and governments are still corrupt.

But our government is supposed to be a government for the people by the people.

We supposedly don’t live in a Roman style dictatorship.

I don’t necessarily see a difference between voicing anger at pure evil, and spreading the Gospel.

Our government is supposed to be the Kingdom of God, by God and for God. The world is going to hell in a handbasket and the best we can hope for is to be used of God to pull a few souls out of it at the last moment.

I’ll be honest, from that perspective of the article, it doesn’t make sense. But note, the article doesn’t say what happened before the case. Yes, they spoke about the boy(or girl), but not the father until he was jailed. its just odd to me
