In the 1600's spirit and ghost were used differently that we use them today. When modern English hearers think of ghost we think of Casper the friendly ghost or ghost busters in the movies. We think of spirit as a supernatural entity a soul. It would have been the opposite back in the 1600's.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
The KJV clearly separates the spirit from soul. They are not the same.

The NIV is God's word.
The NASB is God's word.
The ESV is God's word.
The NET is God's word.
The KJV is God's word.
The CSB is God's word.

Etc.

Your "common sense" is not God's wisdom.

Deal with it.
The modern versions you show are counterfeits of Gods word, that follow the (Novum Testamentum Graece) a Greek Text created by unsaved Adulterers and a homosexual union supporter, that (Removes) Matthew 17:21, 18:11, Acts 8:37, Romans 16:24

God's Words Below

Matthew 17:21KJV
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Matthew 18:11KJV
11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Acts 8:37KJV
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Romans 16:24KJV
24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

To say all translation and all bibles version are of equal value, and doctrinally they all say the same thing is not logical and blind.
Some changes affect the doctrines very little but some can change the meaning completely.

Matt 1:25 "her firstborn" is omitted. That Jesus was her firstborn indicates that Mary and Joseph had sexual relations after the birth of Jesus and that others were born of her. The omission here seeks to add credence to the false doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church concerning the perpetual virginity of Mary. The Bible is clear that Jesus had brothers and sisters.

I don't believe in the RCC theory on this, but given the fact that firstborn children had to be redeemed by sacrifice, they would have been called 'firstborn' whether or not there were any other children born. The mother having a second born while the first one before the firstborn should be redeemed would only occur in cases of the birth of twins, triplets, etc.

Fallacy...different truths are not the same.

This would make God a God of confusion and a liar. God said this in this version...but said something different in this version. God cannot make up His mind.

You cannot be serious.
These are not different truths.
Pray that the Holy Spirit delivers you from the cult brainwashing.

But any good functional equivalent or slightly dynamic modern Bible can be trusted, because the Holy Spirit ultimately is the guide.

If you believe the whole KJV (1611) is inspired then,

- You believe the apocrypha was inspired.
- You believe King James attitude toward Puritans was right when he said that he would 'Harry them out of the land."

The dedication to the king says, "Your Majesty’s grace and favour, which will ever give countenance to honest and christian endeavours against bitter censures and uncharitable imputations."

- You consider the tongues the original scriptures were translated from were sacred, because the dedication calls them 'original sacred tongues.'
- You acknowledge the KJV is a translation of the Bible, because the dedication calls it a 'translation of the holy scriptures.
- The the pope is the 'man of sin' or that the 'man of sin' was at least alive in 1611.

The KJV contains different truths than the modern versions and that’s a fact.
I Agree(y)

A few honorable mentions on the (Evil) changes in modern (TRANSLATIONS), I could post hundreds!

Below in Daniel 11:37KJV the Antichrist is identified as being in the lineage of the true Hebrew (God Of His Fathers)

The NIV has (gods of his ancestors) showing a polytheistic lineage

The KJV shows a human man not desiring women, while the NIV has a man being desired by women

(A Complete Change In Eschatology in Theology), hiding the true identity of the future Antichrist in the NIV (Fact)

Daniel 11:37KJV
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Daniel 11:37NIV
37 He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all.

As seen below, the NIV hides the identity of Satan/Lucifer, and turns him into Jesus Christ, the morning star, (Evil)!

Isaiah 14:12KJV
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Isaiah 14:12NIV
12 How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!

Revelation 22:16KJV
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Revelation 22:16NIV
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

What’s ironic is when the modern false versions get to these deleted verses, they delete the verse, skip over the verse number and pick up with the KJV verse numbering system and in so doing they are being a silent witness to the absolute standard of the KJV.

I know for a fact they don't. You are tipping the scale of absurdity.
I can begin with a simple illustration. Luke 10:1 contains truth concerning how many the Lord appointed and sent out. What is the truth? Did the Lord appoint seventy or seventy-two?

KJV 1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

ESV 1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go.

Why do they contain different truths? The manuscripts in which they use are different.

I'm not playing your silly cult game again.

If you have a different truth I must presume you are not Christian.
I hope you meet Jesus (The Truth) and get saved very soon. Good day.

Addressing the OP,
none, if not the Holy Ghost in lead and guiding. for it is the Holy Ghost that give wisdon in what we read. John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."

When faced with an actual simple example of how different versions do in fact contain different truths, you still cannot admit it. Instead, you insult? That’s not like you.

I Agree, as shown the new counterfeits NIV (Hides) the identity of Lucifer, and changes Satan into the (Morning Star) who is Jesus Christ in Isaiah 14:12 (Evil)

They hide the identity of the future Antichrist in Daniel 11:37, having him as a polytheistic playboy (Lies) from the Evil One, the serpent in the garden!

2 Timothy 3:1-5KJV
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
