On you tube you can leave a comment unless its comments are turned off.
Otherwise theres not much you can do.

Because you tube is people uploading their own content, its not as if there is a editor or moderator in charge, or a Broadcasting Standards Authority.
If something is REALLY bothering you, or the mistake is offensive, you could contact you tube (the company) about it.

They can then pull the video. But as there are millions of videos uploaded all the time, there will probably other content around that is better. I wouldnt rely on you tube for accuracy though.
I’m guessing it’s proabably intended for students of taking the class in that school, but it’s available online for me to access, so, I dunno

I found this pdf online and found it to be pretty helpful for checking an answer of mine, but I think there’s at least one thing on it that’s incorrect. I have the name of the school, but I feel like it’s really not worth troubling anyone to try to get it fixed, but, what do you think?
It is quite in order to contact the school and present your findings especially if you think that the correction is going to prevent others from having serious problems with using that pdf.

What exactly do you mean by serious problems? The thing that is possibly incorrect may not be incorrect and I doubt it’s a very big deal. At the very least, I will probably try contacting or talking to my teacher tomorrow and/or sometime in at least 4 days.

hmm, I think maybe you misunderstand what exactly the mistake is. Think of something like a homework problem rather than an important document.

just talk to your teacher about it if you find something amiss.
A lot of schools subscribe to dedicated educational channels, like schooltube or something where the content is tested or moderated before it gets published. And they might pay a subscription to get this content.

If it something like say khan academy or something there would usually be a contact.

in academia, publishing works by peer review. It has to be submitted to a reputable journal, not just uploaded to you tube that absolutrly anyone can view. Thats why its sort of public and unfiltered so there is bound to be mistakes, if you tried to edit all the mistakes on you tube you would be there forever.

This conversation can become quite philosophical but that is OK. Sometimes we see things as a problem but others see them as nothing. In fact, that is the state of affairs in these last days where people call good evil and they also call evil good.
Our conscience should be our guide. I cannot impose my own conscience on yours, you must have your own conscience.
It is the same thing as having your own faith, I cannot impose my faith on you, that is, I cannot cut your head open and take my faith and insert it in your head. Each person has got to have his or her own faith.

And that is one of the big problems with Christianity today, most people are following other people's faith (actually stealing other's faith) by joining an organization and conforming themselves to the things of that organization. This is like jumping on a bandwagon and hitching a ride from someone else. The problem is that if that bandwagon goes over the cliff, so will everyone on the bandwagon.
This really is the height of laziness or rather disdain for something they claim to love. There really are no shortcuts to God. A man can deceive himself but he cannot deceive God.
I have said too much; what I am saying to you is that you must take the initiative and make your own decisions, mistakes if made by the one who figured out the problem for himself, can easily be corrected, but mistakes that you make by following others cannot easily be corrected because you probably won't even know what the mistake is.
I hope you take the time to figure this all out.

This time, on the pdf, I really do think the mistake is a mistake, because I checked my answer yesterday with a friend of mine who got it checked earlier in the day yesterday with an answer key the teacher provided for us. I think I may have a (teacher) contact for the pdf but I’m not sure if bothering them is worth it (I would be a complete stranger as well).

The irony about life is that we are not in control (that is our intellect), we are led of the Spirit of God into paths that we ourselves would not go; in all cases we should allow the Spirit of God to lead and things will always work out for the good. You may ask, how do you know when you are being led.
Paul the Apostle was going into a town to preach when he was turned back by God from going into that town. Do not worry about it - if you make a misstep God will set things straight.

One last thing - a good verse in the scriptures to memorize by heart is Proverbs 16 vs 9.
- A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

I believe that most people will misunderstand that verse because of the simplicity of the words. But it is one of the deepest verses in the scripture that talks about the sovereignty of God, which most Christians fail to recognize or understand. Repeat it to yourself everyday and try to understand it's true meaning.
Most people give little importance to the books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, relegating them to books of prose or wise sayings but they are the literal words of God and must be understood spiritually.

Hope I am not distracting you from you schoolwork by bombarding you with so much conversation so I will leave off from any more talking.

is it a math problem?
if its a case where there is only one correct answer or its going to affect everyones marks then you could contact them
otherwise let it go and maybe your teacher will not use that resource again if its just full of mistakes.

Its on your teacher to check your marks anyway. A lot of textbooks might have answers in the back or a teachers manual with suggested answers but actually the answers might even be open to interpetation, depending on what you are learning.

A lot of teachers dont necessarily go by the book in all their teaching. Sometimes they may want you to come up with your OWN answers, and even your own questions. sometimes there is no ONE correct answer.

Btw, what do u think I should do if my mother doesn’t want me to talk to strangers? Should I still attempt contacting this teacher?
(There are times when I need advice and don’t want to pester mature Christians I know or ask Christians I’m sorta friends with, but might give me advice that makes me doubt if it’s right or not).

Hi guys, so I have this textbook from school that might have at least two (factual) mistakes in it from what I’ve seen. One of them I know the location of, but the other I cannot recall. I’m sure by correcting a mistake (or mistakes) I maybe could be helpful to the publishing company in some way, but my question is, as a Christian, in general, am I morally obligated to at least try to get factual, content mistakes (of other people) that I know the location of, fixed?
My history text books in high school were riddled with obvious factual mistakes. Basically, aside from a few dates, it seemed to be made up. Based on my college text books in business it was obvious that the business text books in high school were written by those not even remotely qualified in business concepts and actual practices. Regarding your inquiry I don't believe that you are morally obligated to try to get the text book straighten out. Total waste of time. Go with the flow, don't seriously challenge the teacher and get an A. I didn't get too many A's in high school but plenty of A's in college. I guess, despite the circumstances, I learned a few things.

If you don’t mind me asking, what should I do if I’m watching an educational YouTube video and I see a mistake but there doesn’t seem to be a very obvious way of contacting the person? I assume not doing anything is the best course of action, but what are your thoughts?
[I’ve edited this message]
pretty sure it will take 50,000 lifetimes to go through youtube trying to correct all the false information.

just sayin'

Judas who wanted to help the poor in the world was told by Jesus, the poor we will always have, but you only have me (Jesus) here for a short while.
Judas didn't want to help the poor. he was stealing from the money box.
he was lying, and almost turned all the apostles against Jesus in that incident.

Christ was being honored - and Judas was saying, don't honor Him.
