You have read WAY too much into that. Both Jews and Muslims say that the God they worship is the same one Abraham worshiped. CCC 841 is just acknowledging what Muslims “profess” to believe so that when a Catholic talks about their faith with a Muslim there is a natural starting point for trying to convert them to Christianity.
Since Muslims deny Christ is God, they are not going to heaven. The God they worship is not our God.

Wow, you had a Catholic explain what something in the Catholic Catechism says and you claim to know better. That is about as ignorant as it gets.
In reality, we know that Jesus Christ is the God of everyone including Muslims. It’s our responsibility as Christians to find ways to convert them, so understanding what faith they “profess” to have is important so we know where to start.

What you don’t seem to grasp is that statement in the Catechism (CCC 814) comes from the council of Vatican II and that there is a further explanation that Vatican II wrote concerning CCC 814.
NO Catholic believes Muslims can believe what Islam teaches and still go to heaven. I’m not sure you’re aware that Catholics fought 3 holy wars against Muslims.

Fist off, ccc 814 is not a dogma. It’s a pastoral statement about how we should approach a dialogue with Muslims. Secondly, the church can make statements and provide explanations for the statements it makes. Which is what they did. Third, you cannot be an adherent to Islam and go to heaven.

because they fought the war because they lost the power of God by becoming a religious-political power. They abandon the gospel message. and remember the crusaders were not all Christian in the true essence of the word or experience they killed Jews too. In WWII the Pope was very much involved with Mussolini and the holocaust. The many Jewish people still hate them for that.
