I was referring to the scripture I quoted brother

I find I agree with the little you share here also that I have read what I meant by that statement is this I’m. Ot sure I said it right but I’m talking about the purpose of his death ultimately being for our benefit . Your right no justice for him , but then again he was exalted above the heavens which justified his act of sacrifice for him

but it meant and created justice for us is what I meant and were supposed to love form e one who died for us was what I was getting at not ourselves anymore but for his will in the gospel

“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:15, 21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I was referencing that principle he died so that we could repent and then begin to live the lives of Gods children the life of the “son of God “

I was meaning he died so we could be healed and live his will out which is what we learn in the gospel

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Such an incredible exchange becoming justice for us who had none available being sinners , justifying us by his own will giving us hope
Then Im in full agreement with you. Yes, so we would repent because of the injustice committed against Jesus. Sins by mankind against God.

Only God knows the hearts of man. How can man truly know God's heart? We do experience His love daily, this is about as close as we in the flesh can get I believe.

No one has seen [eoraken; horao- properly, see, often with metaphorical meaning: "to see with the mind" (i.e. spiritually see), i.e. perceive (with inward spiritual perception)] God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom* of the Father, He has explained** [Him]. John1:18 NASB

Jesus knows God intimately*(Father's heart) and has 'exegesato'**, thoroughly brought [Him] forth.

So..... I’m thinking you have the mantle of an Evangelist because you are very passionate to share the gospel...all that Jesus Christ has done to save us.
There are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.

I think I fall under the Teacher category....I’m the most passionate about the “why”....the understanding of it all.

Although it is in God’s Heart to save us......WHY does He choose to save us....

God’s Heart has a desire to have a relationship with us, He doesn’t want to live without us.

He wants to be with all those that take the time to know Him and love Him....

Early in the morning, as the sun is rising while the dew is still on the ground.... read your Holy Bible.

By so doing, you will be eating your daily provision of manna.....God’s Word first thing in the morning is sooooo sweet!

I grab a cup of coffee and my Bible and snuggle with the Holy Spirit....to whom I ask tons and tons of questions while I read the Bible. A great start to every day! Enjoy!:coffee:(y)

Didn’t God say that David was a man after God’s own Heart.....

And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’
Acts 13:22 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Acts 13:22&version=NKJV

Yes, we can know God’s Heart by our heart seeking to know God’s Heart!(y)

At my time in life, I have never heard the definition of the expression of being after someone's hart to mean anything other than someone who is held dear, ergo David was dear to our Father. This is my understanding,.

That's very kind of you to say.

The truth is, I'm very proud and arrogant. Unfortunately.

It's something I need to keep working on. But, despite that, God keeps revealing truth to me in his word which makes me feel indescribable.
No way! The proud and arrogant NEVER admit to being prideful and arrogant....

You are wise and humble....

Wise because you seek to know God...(y)

Humble because you know you NEED Him...(y)

No, David knew God’s Heart....David knew not to lay his hand on God’s anointed...thus, he never raised his hand against King Saul...

David knew God’s Heart....David knew God would deliver Goliath into his hands because David knew how God defies and disdains the proud and arrogant that seek to hurt God’s people...like the bear and Lion that came to devour his father’s sheep...

David would not stop praying and fasting while his child with Bethsheba was sick..... because David knew at times God will repent and have mercy...

David knew God’s Heart and God knew David’s heart....(y)

God bless you also Pilgrimshope. And there's no need to apologize if your words are misunderstood. Clarification is sometimes needed, but even writings from the Bible, such as Pauls letters, are worded in a way that have been mangled beyond belief.

that is beautiful every word , I truly can’t express the appreciation in my heart for your comment and heart shares with me ❤️

I’m not sure what gifts the lord has for each of us individually but I believe if we are open to the lords word it comes from some of the most unsuspecting places and each of us have many gifts even if we haven’t yet known . Like fruit they eventually begin to bloom

A humble Worker at a church reception desk might have a word or power and freedom of we’re not too proud to listen , the Christian janitor in a workplace if we’re not thinking he’s a mere janitor , a teenager who spends time in youth group of we aren’t to educated and mature to open ears , the elderly that we sometimes over look seem to always have wisdom to impart , the greatest gift is humility and open ears to the words of our lord and savior Jesus Christ

As to why God does what he does , I think it’s somewhere in the realm of a fathers love for his children , even the rebellious ones . We are very important to Gods creation people fill the earth without people it’s an empty planet

Gods plan is to fill the earth with those with the character of Jesus Christ who don’t create a world of violence perversions and war and false gods with the dominion he gives us like we did the first time

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that was the plan in the beginning but Satan led man astray , His plan will come to pass when things are restored he loves us and wants a people and family to return that love

Well dear Christian we are scatterbrained, but

God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2Tim.1:7

and this we will have if we listen to his Holy Spirit instead of our old nature. This is powerful teaching,

whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comesfrom God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and [the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death. Phil.3:7-10

In recent months, I see this more clearly now, because someone I love has hurt me deeply. My sorrow turned to anger and I never wanted to see this person again. I was going to cut this person out of my life completely, but then I heard our Lord saying, "Did I cut you off completely when you sinned against me? Did I never again want to see the people who spit on me and crucified me?"

I want to know him better. I need to listen to his correction and it's a struggle. The devil is after me every day to give in to my old natire of hating someone who wronged me. But where would I be if my gentle Savior decided to list the many ways I've wronged him?

sometimes on this place I read someone’s words and then realize how much we are all in the exact same boat going through the exact same struggles

And then some scripture thinks it’s way in after reading your post here I feel compelled to just tell you I truly understand your experience and there are a lot of us fighting the same battles though they are different in details the same fight we’re in so I wanted to share this for encouragement

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

press on His eyes are ever on those seeking him and remember you are not alone

A book could be written to answer the OP question. In one sentence, I'd say that in order to know the Heart of God, we'd better start with knowing the Old Testament in a timeline, chronological order.

Unconditional forgiveness is a spiritual law God has written on our hearts.

We are no longer under the written law but there are spiritual laws that apply to us and we can only obey them such as forgiveness by the power of the Holy Spirit.

All is well with you, choose to forgive and to love but, you do NOT have to be a doormat....you do NOT have to stay in an unhealthy relationship.

You can leave the relationship and still have no anger or bitterness or resentment in your heart....only pray for them and wish them the best.
