There is a law of Moses

and it’s not to save sinners it’s to hold sinners guilty and put them to death
There is more important part to law than death and here it is.
Psalm 119:97-101
97 Oh, how I love Your law!
It is my meditation all the day.
98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies;
For they are ever with me.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my meditation.
100 I understand more than the [a]ancients,
Because I keep Your precepts.
101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way,
That I may keep Your word.

it's not about how much scripture I have figured out. context is absolutely 'key'. people will take a verse, run with it and come out the other side with some bizarre doctrine and voila you have yourself a new cult. they will read something like this:

And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things, so remain in Him as you have been taught. I John 2:27

and take it to mean 'oh goody. I don't have to listen to anyone and God is going to teach me personally'. That is a wrong understanding and yet you find people like that, on this forum for sure, who think they have some kind of superior understanding, while basically they have gone off the path and are in deception.

now how should that verse be understood? well, in context...both in the setting in which we find it AND in harmony with other scripture that may seem like it says something different. for example, if one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is teaching, than can or should a person come to the conclusion they do not need to be taught?

looking at the verses before and after 27, we see this:

24As for you, let what you have heard from the beginning remain in you. If it does, you will also remain in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life.

26I have written these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. 27And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things, so remain in Him as you have been taught.

28And now, little children, remain in Christ, so that when He appears, we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.

29If you know that He is righteous, you also know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.

reading the whole book or chapter is the best understanding and knowing something of the history of the early church and the Apostle John gives even more light on the matter, but suffice it to say John is writing to believers who have a history of being taught and know what John is saying. They have accepted the truth as taught by those who knew Jesus in the flesh and are filled with the Spirit of God. In other words, they have a solid FOUNDATION in the truth.

well that's alot, but that is the type of thing I am talking about
Im happy with this, really good post, really encouraging and respectfull to his word thankyou.

Why did God create Judges ?

Exodus 24:12-18

New International Version

12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭3:2, 4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

he was speaking through “
Ordination “ of angels to Moses and the. Moses to the people

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is what Paul’s talking about

amen to the scripture you posted there and then he went on up to the mount to receive the commandments for the covenant he just made with the people the first commandment he had already spoken to the people was this

“And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:….
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and while Moses was on the mount getting the tables of the covenant they did this

“And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

Moses intercedes

“And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?…

And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

( now watch how this happens and who’s jidgement puts people to death and who lays his own life on the line for Israel )

And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:1, 3-11, 14-16, 19‬ ‭

AlReady they have shattered the covenant God made with them both the high priest and the people have defiled and broken the covenant. God only spared then for Moses sake alone he intercedes further after he dispenses his own judgement which is why Moses words govern Israel’s covenant and it’s Moses atonement formthier sins so it becomes his law it’s a letter for the New Testament

So watch Moses begin to speak for himself and attatch Gods name to it ( because it’s his judgement now and God has already approved of Moses but not the people God approves of anything Moses says now because he interceded and he’s following God the best he can )

“Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure

I ( Moses) shall make an atonement for your sin.

And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin―; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:26-28, 30-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses is the judge of israel so you don’t see him applying Jesus jidgement to the people he applies his own judgement according to the anger he has along with God for what they have done this event repeats itself through Moses life he constantly interceded and they were constantly slaughtered until eventually even Moses does without forgiveness of his one transgression and is forbidden from entering into the promise land

Because he is the one who put his life on the line and gained thier atonement it is Moses law and he sits in the judgement seat until Christ came with the new covenant and truth of judgement ordained of God the father and spoken to Man by God “ the son “ and it provides Gods Holy Spirit for the believer

nothing Moses says can do any of that

Because this transgression all happened it’s was given over to angels to ordain the law just like it had begun and Christ would come long after the curse ran its course offering salvstion to all
Actions including Israel first but not by sending out the law to the world , by sending out the truth to us

im just reqoting you here because im not sure if where on the same page.

1 Corinthians 6:18-19
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

Ok so how can sexually sins be a sin against your own body ?
my answer would be because your body experiances the pleasure. but the sin is you should not look for pleasure and commit a sin. which is defiling your own body.
It's not a sin to look for pleasure. It is a sin to commit adultery or fornication. The Bible declares that sexual sin is against one's own body, but it does not specify "how".

sorry to intercede I just wanted to share a scripture

“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: ( the lustful look , not your actual eye ) for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:27-29

what Jesus is saying is t meant to condemn us because we have mostly all
Had some form of lustful ideas or thoughts . What he’s saying is what will
Keep us on the narrow path of we reject the inner lust , adultery will never have room to tempt us and we will never commit adultery

it’s meant to give us freedom from the power sin has over us if we believe the spiritual truth Jesus taught That corrects the heart so we don’t follow the temptation through allowing lust

the gospel guards our minds and hearts of we keep it in our faith it’s hard to think about lustful thkngs if Jesus words are in there too about not allowing that

he came to bring our inner self to repentance so we don’t keep sinning and die if we believe his words that he taught about God and salvstion it’s a done deal we can expect to be set free from faith to faith

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin….If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32, 34, 36‬ ‭

grace comes as we believe the thkngs God taught us to believe and so not becomes his teachings we believe where we find true grace that changes our hearts and lives from sin to God but he accepts us first and then we’re supposed to pursue him in the gospel truth he spoke by faith but it begins by changing the thkngs like lustful eyes and intents or desires because sin comes from that place

Ok so now you agree the law was given to moses by God, because now your saying it became the law of moses. because moses became the judge of isreal.

Again there is no difference, your still saying that it is the law of moses by sayin it became the law of moses, what you should be saying is it became known as the law of moses.

All of what your quoting is the law preached to the jews in the first covenant on the outer relationship. The more important covenant to come was all theese laws that where being preached here would be written on our hearts in the second covenant.

Lets look at this and understand what this new covenant means, which i will post in my next post,

The new covenant repeating the old covenant to be written on our hearts through a manifestation oF Gods grace.

Jeremiah 31-33

“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God, and they will be my people

Question here is does this apply to christians as well as Jews ?

Jeremiah 32:39-40
39 I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them. 40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.

Question again does this apply to christians as well as the Jews

Ezekiel 11:19
9 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

Questions is this a manifestion of Gods grace and a prophesy to come for Jews and christians that came after the resurection ?

Ezekiel 36:26-27
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Question is this for christians as well as Jews as well as a manifestation of God grace. that came after the resurection

what is really dangerous is trying to convince Christ followers that they should be keeping jewish Sabbath in order to properly serve God, which gentiles were never commanded to do.....
If Christians were focused on who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them, the law would not be an issue. If Christians realised that they were dead to sin, self and the world, much of their striving would cease. Who can make a dead person do anything?

On the positive side, Lord Jesus gives us Himself to be our life. Living in a way that pleases God is just as natural to the born again as flight is to a bird. Part of the problem is that many try to force the natural life to conform to what they imagine God's ways and will to be. I've never seen a bird sitting down and reading a book about aeronautics. Christians should be as free as the birds.

When I was first saved, my colleagues noticed an immediate change. Neither they nor me understood it. The change was because I had received a new nature, not because I was suddenly slavishly obedient to the law of God.

What God does in an instant is worked out over our lifetime. But if all we have is "the letter that kills", we will fail to enjoy the great salvation that cost Lord Jesus His all to provide for us.

The law is no issue because i am a slave to christ. another expression of being a slave to christ would also be to be obedient to christ. that is being the Good slave and seeing the more important side of the law.
Ephesians 6:6-8
The Message

5-8 Servants, respectfully obey your earthly masters but always with an eye to obeying the real master, Christ. Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God. Good work will get you good pay from the Master, regardless of whether you are slave or free.
1 Peter 2:1616 Act as free people, and [a]do not use your freedom as a [b]covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God.

This is knowing who we are in christ and who christ is in us by doing the will of christ we are also slaves to christ. 6 not [a]by way of [b]eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the [c]heart.

More important sides to the law

Slaves to Righteousness
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

which means being obedient to christ.

Reguarding the sabbath when we rest In Jesus we also rest in his kingdom. This is the same as honouring the sabbath.

When God spoke honor my sabbath day of rest, Jesus was also speaking here, Jesus is God.
So there will allways remain a sabbath rest. The added law is you may work in rest also and may rest in his sabbath-rest anytime.

Hebrews 4:9-11
9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,[a] just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
Please not the above scripture say there remains a sabbath rest and not a one day sabbath rest set a side for one day a week.

Do i have one day a week that i call the a sabbath day, no i do not, because i know Jesus worked on the sabbath day. I see the more important side to the law of resting in his sabbath which is being obediant to Jesus. resting from works and resting in his law,

It would be a whole lot easier to understand your message if you didn’t call everything “law”; especially as most of Scripture is not law.

Ok so now you agree the law was given to moses by God, because now your saying it became the law of moses. because moses became the judge of isreal.

Again there is no difference, your still saying that it is the law of moses by sayin it became the law of moses, what you should be saying is it became known as the law of moses.
Exodus 24:12-18

New International Version

12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
everything in scripture came from God

that doesn’t change the fact that it was mediated by angels and not Gods son before you continue consider that this is true

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭

the New Testament isn’t ordained of angels it’s ordained of God no angels involved , no Moses the sinner involved it’s Gid the father , ordaining God the son , to speak to man this is why it matters angels are inferior to Jesus

“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?

And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Brother it’s inferior in every way because the ot was always exalting the son of God when he would come with the new covenant the real eternal word of God which Moses foretold Moses understood his word was temporary until Christ came and spoke do you ?

“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. ( when Christ had come )

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:22-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you realize why it’s important to acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ and son of God ?

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6-7‬ ‭

The Old Testament was screaming “ when Gods son arrives everyone believe him he’s the one that can save he owns the world “

“Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭2:6-12‬ ‭

If you trust in Moses rather than Christ it’s not the same it means your headed for accusation

“Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses is the judge of those under his law and it’s not going to be an advocation for them it’s going to accuse them of we go to jidgement under the law trusting in Moses words were not going to have salvation but will be accused by Moses that’s what his law is

“Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So yeah every word in scripture comes from God that doesn’t change anything I have said , the Bible is the one that says this stuff like the law being ordained of angels and being inferior to the gospel , like angels being inferior to Jesus ect like the ot word being inferior to the new

God has explained this stuff to us in scripture but if he said something in the beginning things get fulfilled and his plan progresses the law was part of the plan to get the world ready for Jesus and his life giving words the law brought men here

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18

and then
“The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭14:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so all had sinned and all were doomed to death by the words of the law ….the end right ?

Nope that’s what the New Testament is about redeeming man from thoer sins under the law that our men to death so we need this word now to pass from the death of the law into the life of the gospel

“For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:21-22, 24‬ ‭

All of what your quoting is the law preached to the jews in the first covenant on the outer relationship. The more important covenant to come was all theese laws that where being preached here would be written on our hearts in the second covenant.

Lets look at this and understand what this new covenant means, which i will post in my next post,
it’s hard to look at things when the other person doesn’t is the thing

he spoke to the Jews and then sent them out to teach us the same things that’s why the Bible is written by the Jews who believed the messiah and spread his gospel the rest rejected him because they trusted the law of Moses as of salvstion is a work of man , rather than hearing what Moses said about the messiah to come and trusting in Jesus

When you are looking at the Old Testament remember it’s condition it could have been a blessing or a curse

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:19‬ ‭

either way the law would need to be fulfilled either the curses written in it or the blessings written in it

there are several pages of the blessings and curses written based on what they did as a nation. They chose to break the covenant and received the curses written in it , fulfillment of the law could be a blessing or curse for Israel they do owe the curse and broke thier covenant so it’s curses began to be fulfilled so Babylon and the successive nations came to destroy Jerusalem as Gkd said culminating in thier rejection of the messiah and the subsequent destruction of jerusalem In ad 67-70

You aren’t willing to accept that they broke thier focenwnt so all the curses promises came that’s what thier covenant is now a curse

but the gospel is a blessing

“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God, and they will be my people

Question here is does this apply to christians as well as Jews ?
starting with question 1 here

we also, as Christians, are in covenant with our Creator. In case you didn't know, there are 5 main covenants in the Bible and it helps to understand how covenants worked in history and to understand that they are binding. We are in what is called the New Covenant, enacted by Jesus when He died in our place, thereby fulfilling the judgement of God against all sin...death. We know He was raised to life because He was without sin and God accepted this atonement on our behalf...in fact it was God's plan all along. This covenant is binding.

The covenants God made with the Israelites were all broken but not by God. Therefore, as God keeps covenant He promises to do for them what they could not do for themselves. He, God, will do for them what they could not do for themselves...keep covenant. Moving across time here, we enter the New Covenant through the blood of Christ. You know that thousands of animals were sacrificed but their blood never actually removed sin as does the blood of Christ. That, is why the Bible describes these sacrifices, and the law(s) as a SHADOW of what was to come...see Colossians 2

Way back in Genesis, God promised salvation and His plan was always to send Jesus to fulfill that promise and create an everlasting covenant with all who are His...both Jew and Gentile alike.

Hebrews helps us to understand more about this covenant through Jesus:

11Now if perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on this basis the people received the law), why was there still need for another priest to appear—one in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron? 12For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed as well.

13He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, a tribe as to which Moses said nothing about priests.

15And this point is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16one who has become a priest not by a law of succession, but by the power of an indestructible life. 17For it is testified:

“You are a priest forever

in the order of Melchizedek.”

18So the former commandment is set aside because it was weak and useless 19(for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

20And none of this happened without an oath. For others became priests without an oath, 21but Jesus became a priest with an oath by the One who said to Him:

“The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind:

‘You are a priest forever.’ ”

22Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. Hebrews 7

So, has God fulfilled the words in Jeremiah you quote? Absolutely to all who believe. We are the Israel of God (I believe that God is not done with Israel as some believe but that is another issue for another time) and He has sent the Holy Spirit to bring to our minds all we have learned and to dwell in our 'hearts'.

We have had our sins forgiven and the Holy Spirit indwells believers in Christ to enable us to walk after Christ...to walk in the Spirit, scripture states, and to be able to resist temptation to sin and so on. So what people could not do, as our sin nature overrides every time, God Himself did in giving us the Holy Spirit. We are 'born again' and the law given to Moses, that no one can keep, has been fulfilled by Christ and God's degree that all who sin shall die, is not hanging over our heads.

When we sin, our High Priest (Hebrews) declares us innocent before God because of His blood shed on our behalf. No one should say they are without sin or that they never sin. John says this:

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
I John

The 10 commandments reveal a way to live in the love of God but no one can keep them. If you break one you break them all. Jesus said to His disciples:

34A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. 35By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

It is about love...God is love...all He does is love, including what we do not understand or do not want to accept

All of the above is a very condensed explanation. It's still pretty long though. It's alot to grasp and people spend years studying. Even as I wrote it, I see again the plan of God and how perfect it is. Please understand that there is far more to grasp and understanding comes through the Spirit of God

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭‭‭
Whats more important to me than the law being given because of transgressions is the law being given to prevent transgressions in the future.
the New Testament isn’t ordained of angels it’s ordained of God no angels involved , no Moses the sinner involved it’s Gid the father , ordaining God the son , to speak to man this is why it matters angels are inferior to Jesus.‭‭‭
The old testerment is ordained by God also. In the new testerment many people where ordained by God.

“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

‭‭‭
The real eternal word of God is found in both ot and nt. Moses was ordained by God just as angels are, prophets are ordained by God just as angels are.
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God. which includes his honor his love his mercy his love his grace his truth. to say law is only added because of transgression is taking a way from his honor.

‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:22-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you realize why it’s important to acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ and son of God ?
I know how important it to recognise many things including that Jesus is the son of God but are you forgetting that Jesus was God in the old testerment ?

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6-7‬ ‭

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭2:6-12‬ ‭

If you trust in Moses rather than Christ it’s not the same it means your headed for accusation
This is your error to think that people must be trusting in moses when they speak about the law.

No It is God who makes the final Judgement. moses is not above Gods law.
So yeah every word in scripture comes from God that doesn’t change anything I have said , the Bible is the one that says this stuff like the law being ordained of angels and being inferior to the gospel , like angels being inferior to Jesus ect like the ot word being inferior to the new
No sorry the old t is just as much ordained as the nt

God has explained this stuff to us in scripture but if he said something in the beginning things get fulfilled and his plan progresses the law was part of the plan to get the world ready for Jesus and his life giving words the law brought men here
The law was not just for the coming of Jesus.

Again just one interprataion of what the law does, and again the more important side of the law is to prevent sin not be doomed by it.

Again the old testerment was Just as much about Gods love and Gods Law as much as the new testerment is. God dispaplines and chastises out of love for us. The old t laws could only be written on our hearts in the form of a manifestation of Grace after God came down as Jesus and defeated death. The new testerment is a continuation of the old not a demolisher of the old t it would be naive to think so.

The main point of the law in the old t was it was on the bases of an outer relationship where as the new t the law became an inner relationship

God also states he will give a new heart. How does that fit in? We are now to be led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does nothing apart from what God Himself would do nor does He teach anything apart from the truth.

Jesus says Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11: 28-30

I do not believe we are to be burdened with the law. further it was only a shadow of what was to come...the New Covenant as I explained. The new heart comes with the new birth. This does not mean freedom to sin and frankly I have never seen anyone on this forum make that claim although some accuse others of saying that

Freedom in Christ means freedom from dos and donts. It means relationship with God and throwing off the religiosity of stone cold religion without the love and grace of God

If someone would state they believe we need to keep the law, I would tell them they do not understand it was temporary and further, no one has been able to keep it, otherwise why did Christ die?

there is no scripture anyone can point to that states Christians are obliged to follow the law given to the Israelites, although people certainly try to do so

for me, there is no disagreement on this; there is scripture and scripture is point blank firm that Christ is the end of the law, He has fulfilled the law and although some find Romans hard to understand, Paul explains all of that without compromise
