God seems to er on the side of escape

Ecclesiastes 7:26
And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

....as in the pretrib rapture, those departing with Jesus are the ones ready and pleasing God.
( mat 25)

Those ready escape.
No.

God leans in the direction of having His people be tough and faithful no matter how difficult life gets. In fact He raises the bar a little, He wants you to rejoice and be exceedingly glad when you face persecution and hardships. God is preparing us for the worst the world can throw at us. True Christians know exactly what I'm talking about.

ok. I mean I’m not gonna disagree with you and you clearly are very fixated on your beliefs and that’s why the ignore button is beautiful

Tell ot to Jesus.
I am just repeating what he said.

" ...but pray that you will be counted worthy to ESCAPE the things about to come upon the world and stand before the son of God"

Tell it to Jesus.

I post escape verses.

Someone denies the truth of the word of God that you and him are offended by.

You commend him.

Bizarre.

I read the bible.

I post what is written

It really upsets and makes them refute the word of God.

The difference is i see both.

You need the one dimension of escape removed as if God never said it or does it.

That is the difference

I force you to refute the word of God

You can pray to escape sure, but that isn't a forgone conclusion. The operative word here is "worthy." God will make a case by case judgement to see if someone is worthy.

Jesus also said this:

Matthew 24:13
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

It's clear to me that Jesus did talk about escaping, but it's also clear He means for us to endure to the end.

Luke 21 (ESV)

36But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.

Both the Israelites and the Egyptians went through the ten plagues in Egypt.

The Israelites however had the strenght to escape the hardships of the plagues as they were delivered unharmed by God, the Egyptians not ... No Israelite physically escaped Egypt however... The same it would be, that those praying Christians receiving strength, to escape the trials of the great tribulation, will not physically escape earth before the great tribulation, but will be guided divinely to go through the great tribulation's trials divinely unharmed as God delivered Christians. Some Christians however will be captured and some will be killed, so pray that you as a Christian will have strength to escape the antichrist's great tribulational trials.

All Christians, dead/resurrected and alive/transfigured, will meet Christ in the clouds after the great tribulation.

It's clear that Matthew 24 has no content whatsoever that addresses the Church . Understand that first and everything else will fall into place. God willing anyways.....

However it is true that Christians will NOT suffer Gods wrath as proclaimed in the book of Revelation ch 6 and afterward. The tribulation that Christians suffer in this present age is that of a fallen unsaved earth and world of men.

The apostle Paul never ever in ANY instance suffered the wrath of God......ONLY the wrath of men.

I don't believe the great tribulation is God's wrath. I don't see any Biblical support for God persecuting His church, forcing them to take a mark, or worship a false prophet/beast.

Since the GT is not God's wrath, then saying "we are not appointed to wrath" as a reason for a pre-trib rapture doesn't really make sense.

Couldn't disagree more. Jesus was addressing the elect. The elect are those who are in the body of Christ, whether they be Jew, Gentile, male, female, or otherwise.

That is a heretical view. The term "wrath" occurs 13 times in the book of Revelation.

-11 times explicitly stated as God's wrath
-1 time explicitly stated as the wrath of the Lamb
-1 time explicitly stated as the wrath of Satan

Many times in the New Testament it is stated that we are NOT appointed to God's wrath. Including His wrath of the tribulation period.

I am shocked and amazed at the failure of biblical scholarship by so posters on this thread.
Opinions without Scriptural backup are totally useless and dangerous.

Of course you're wrong about that as well. Matthew 24 is Jesus' Own exposition of the Daniels 70th week. Daniel ch 9 is a prophecy given only to Israel.

The Church is raptured before Daniel 70th week ever begins.....because it is the time of God's wrath. And tragically this wrath is also appointed to Israel. But it is definitely NOT appointed to the Church.

The Great Tribulation is NOT God's wrath. It is the wrath of Satan mentioned in Revelation 12.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The church is present on the Earth for the Great Tribulation but will be raptured away before God's wrath begins found in Revelation 11.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Pretribbers are FORCED to say and believe this since the 'gathering' which is the rapture follows the Trib.

Agreed.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Clearly the Great Tribulation is persecution of the elect by Satan and his forces.

Jesus was expounding on the 70th week of Daniel. The audience is the same as Daniels audience. The nation Israel.....

The abomination of desolation. Daniel chapter 9. Israel and the temple.
